I had my interview on the 28th Jan and was given a start date 7 days later, similar situation with my mate who also got a start date 7 days after his interview - he’s interview was on 2nd Feb (his brother was also given a start date the same day, he had his interview around the same time as him).

It seems Manpower approaches the entire process with some form and sense of randomness, as I personally felt my assessments went ‘ok’. It wouldn’t surprise me if Manpower were employing the use of a spinning wheel to select which candidates are given a start date
What I've read on here seems it's a scoring system higher scores get start dates before lower scores, it was my first interview so I know it wasn't the best. When's you start date? Just annoying waiting around now

Unless you’ve received the dreaded email ‘unfortunately we will not be taking your application any further’ I wouldn’t lose all hope. I thought I cocked up and threw a clanger at every opportunity I was given (not intentionally of course!) in every part of the process but somehow I managed to get a start date along with a few other folks I know.
If you receive the email ‘you have successfully completed all parts of the assessments’, you should be happy and congratulate yourself as that is an achievement in itself. After that you could wait a day or a few months before you get a call for a start date and the latter is the unfortunate situation for some, but I hope everyone does get a start date eventually :grouphug:

My start date is 10th March, I was offered 24th February but because of current work constraints I asked if it was possible for an alternative start date to which they provided the 10th March. My mates start on the 24th February.

Have you worked with people from different backgrounds and how did you build a relationship with them?
Have you ever challenged a process and what was the outcome?
Have you ever had a confrontation with a colleague or someone, what was the outcome?
What did you do, to keep yourself motivated when undertaking a repetitive task?
Have you been late in the past 12 months?
Have you done shift work?
Most of the time is spent filling in forms and filling in the criminal check form, which takes place before the actual interview. Once the interview is finished you’ll have to do a drug test. Once the drug test is completed, you’ll be free to go home.

are there any assessments and what they? and if you fail is that the end of the process ?

• Hi all I had my interview on 5th feb. Called today to be cheeky and give a bit of a push and turns out they have the wrong number for me which is strange as they called me about both my manual and 1-1 interview before. I'm gutted as she said they may have been trying to call me to get me a start date :( awaiting a call today to find out what's gone wrong......gutted
