    Thanks mate.

They said Monday was for induction to bring bank details, wear tracksuit bottoms and trainers. Asked about size for uniform and boots. Said I would be working in BIW didn't mention PERA training but it was a bit of a strange conversation because I could hear another operator speaking to someone else in the background.

Oh right that is strange I thought the 2 week training was the first thing you had to do before getting into the plant? Maybe depends where about your going to be working? Hope all goes and hopefully be there myself soon enough :T

    Well your mate is wrong.

The first cars come off the new line 12th of July, and the info comes the plant launch

Haha like that's going to happen lol, we will see the sooner the better for all of us I'm sure.....

I just received my email telling me that unfortunately I havent been successful on this occasion etc etc.

I know I passed the drug test because they tell you that there and then and I have no criminal record (besides, the CRB check wouldn't of come back yet anyway, because my interview was only two days ago), therefore, I can only assume I failed the interview.

I felt it went fairly good too - just goes to show that you never can tell eh ?

i have to give 2 weeks for mine so i presume thats gone against me

I got bored of waiting for manpower to decide what they are doing so thought I'd try my luck and applied for a job directly with JLR, didn't expect anything to come from it, only got a call this afternoon offering me the job whoop whoop.....
