If all goes well then you'll get a contract. Don't be late, don't phone in sick, do what's asked of you and generally just get on with it and you'll be okay. It's a 12 month temporary contract with Manpower, then if everything goes well, a 12 month rolling Jaguar contract. At the end of that, a full time Jag contract. So for 2yrs it's ongoing then bingo. I'm not sure if that's across the board as I'm in Halewood.

Just as a quick one because I think someone asked. Once you've passed the interview then they'll phone you to come in for an induction. This can be days, weeks or months later depending on when Jag ask them to get some new workers in. After you've been shown around and given a general heads up on what happens and where, you'll go to the stores and be given t-shirts, trousers, a jacket and boots. Depending on which area you work in depends on what you'll need but everything is provided and you'll not need to buy anything. Unless you don't like the boots and want to get your own.

Hi everyone, very much in the last chance saloon next Monday, on my second manual assessment after reapplying !! I had previously taken the manual assessment but didn't get an interview which was gutting because I thought u did quite well first time around.

Was just wondering if anyone had taken it recently? A heads up on what to expect and whether it would be the same as last time would be massively appreciated.

    Cheers guys

    Hiya,
Have you been able to reapply online from the same account or you made a new one? Its more than 3 months from online assessment for my boyfriend but his account is still blocked. . Don't know what to do now

Manpower told to create a new account, the person I spoke too couldn't explain why I couldn't reapply on the same account even though the 3 months had passed from my online test.

    Good luck

I cannot comment on the actual job as of yet as I have been in a classroom for the last 2 weeks and will be for the next 3 weeks but from what I've seen and heard its all very promising and exciting.
The manual assessment consisted of building the top half of an engine up ; putting camshafts in etc.
