Just got this had my interview last Tuesday

Thank you for attending your recent interview with Manpower for our vacancies within Jaguar Land Rover Halewood.

Just got the exact same email and seems to me as I've read quite a few messages on here that basically just waiting on a call now with a start date, hopefully that's correct and it won't be too long now. Tend s to go in a pattern of email then call about 3-5 days later with me through the process. Fingers crossed hey :beer:

Having spoken to two managers at Solihull, I have been reliably informed that JLR Solihull will not be recruiting anybody new till after the 2 week August shutdown. Apparently it's due to the new building (where the new starters will work) not being finished in time and pushing the start date back from May to Sept/Oct.

This is correct I have just found out! New building is in the comissioning stage then it has to run for 1000 hours without a hickup then we will start getting dates for the new plant at Solihull, people that are getting dates now are going to Land Rover to strengthen the numbers as demand is so high. So will be end of August/September, to those like myself still waiting don't worry good things come to those who wait
