This is correct I have just found out! New building is in the comissioning stage then it has to run for 1000 hours without a hickup then we will start getting dates for the new plant at Solihull, people that are getting dates now are going to Land Rover to strengthen the numbers as demand is so high. So will be end of August/September, to those like myself still waiting don't worry good things come to those who wait
Makes me wonder a big company should have an overview of what intake would be and should keep people in the loop and notify if it goes over a certain time still waiting now since interview 5 weeks0 -

I agree completely should be keeping people up to date with what is happening, it's been 8 weeks today for me ...0 -

Of course they could both be wrong. These are schedules and plans that are prone to delays and slippage. It would be rare for everything to go exactly to plan.0

Very good well done, was that to start training on Monday?
They said Monday was for induction to bring bank details, wear tracksuit bottoms and trainers. Asked about size for uniform and boots. Said I would be working in BIW didn't mention PERA training but it was a bit of a strange conversation because I could hear another operator speaking to someone else in the background.0
