  • It's a mystery to us all mate, I think they just pull names out of a hat. :D

Yeh I've got that feeling aswell as I believe I have all the attributes needed for a job there,A few of my friends who are in cannot believe I have not had the call yet ... Ahh we'll just gotta be patient I suppose ;-))
  • Please can someone explain what will be on the further on-line assessment?

Manpower told me that I need to come in for a manual assessment and a further on-line assessment. I need to know what is in this test?

    Help asap!!

The same type of thing as your original on-line assessment, they are making everyone re-take them in a controlled environment to prevent cheating.
  • Richard thank you! I passed that so I should pass it again, I thought it may be a lot harder :)
  • hi every body,
ive been following this thread from the begaining!
after all this time, i thought i would post alittle info to correct some threads that i thought was mis leading!

first of all, for new starters, 2 week traning is very easy, have a laugh and try to get on with every1 there because more than likely these are the people that u will be working with on the line!
Dont be too up front, stand back and learn what other people are like (so u know who chat s##t and who are good guys) and also learn to love the 'QUIZDOMS' lmao

on track, ive read here that people think that there is a devide with manpower and full time members!!!
for all ive learnt on my line, this is 'UNTRUE', people who have been ther for 30 year and new members all get on very well and we all have a very good laugh, the only people i see who dont get on with every1 are people who stand back and dont want to get stuck in!!
if u are som1 who gets on with every1 in pub and are 'norma'l, u will do well, if u are a loaner and have no friends, u wont make new 1s, and people wont welcome u!

i started with 40 other people and we mostly all got on well, 3 months later we are all still good friends and we all get on very well, also with the old jag members, they give you little stick to begain with (joking about/testing the water) but if u laugh and give it back u will get on well!

i was a office manager before so for me, ur feet will give u pain for the first 2weeks, but this will pass and the work from then is easy, i work on the track but i also do lots of overtime in OTA,
i enjoy it well and dont listen to rumors, apart from this u will do well!
  • Hi guys just after some info really ive got my interview in the morning and was wandering how it worked there . From what I can make out you are a manpower employee and not a jaguar 1 so how do things work like holiday pay and also what are the shifts patterns like and what is the average pay and do you have set holidays and finally do jaguar take any body on full time or are you just constantly on short term contracts with manpower

I know theres alot off questions there but I have a few job offers at the minute and I am just weighing up what my best options would be . If anyone could fill me in I would be greatfull

Hi guys just after some info really ive got my interview in the morning and was wandering how it worked there . From what I can make out you are a manpower employee (yes manpower employee) and not a jaguar 1 so how do things work like holiday pay (holiday pay accrued weekly (I think) for 28 days a year for first 12 weeks then for 33 days per year after) and also what are the shifts patterns like (depends on area, I'm on Days and Nights a fortnight about) and what is the average pay (from Jan pay will be between £10 and £11 per hour with shift allowance added if you are on any shifts, also after 12 week you get an attendance bonus of £30 per week)and do you have set holidays (yes, factory shutdowns with 5 bookable days)and finally do jaguar take any body on full time or are you just constantly on short term contracts with manpower (1 year with Manpower, then 1 year on a Jag temp contract, then full time, and yes this is happening, I know a couple of lads, 1 just gone to temp Jag contract and 1 just got his full time contract.)

I know theres alot off questions there but I have a few job offers at the minute and I am just weighing up what my best options would be . If anyone could fill me in I would be greatfull

To the best of my knowledge :)

Nice to be in a position to choose ;)
  • Can anybody tell me when the shutdown weeks are please
