I've tried to join several times over the last few months, but they never want anyone else. Does anyone know whether they do take new people on fairly often or not?

It depends when it re opens again. It took me about 18 months to get onto the panel. As people are now on a 6 months rotation they might take more people on again soon.

I had applied and they replied that they didn't need anyone new.

Then, out of the blue, they asked whether still interested and become involved then.

Have been doing posting and receiving post for approximately 4 -5 weeks now. It all still feels quite new.

Just to confirm - it's not only me that has 20+ SMART return envelopes, is it? What should I do with them all? :P

I was told I could send them back. I just requested a large return envelope and put in them there and dropped in the postbox.

I think there was just no option there for me anymore because I am being rested so had no more to post.

It took me two and a half years after applying before i was accepted. I randomly got an email one day informing me they were sending me a tester pack out which took me by suprise!

I've been rested for about six weeks now. The option was there when I posted above and it is still there tonight.

One reason for having the option still is that we might still receive SMARTs from other panellists who delayed sending to us.

I'm exicted got a misdelievery starting 2mor, - on rest period, - hoping get took bad on, ngtmare the price of stamps, sounds daft but I didn't realise took the stamps so much for granted! xx

Nope, I've got a massive stack of the things. I think I'll do what a poster above recommended and ask for an envelope to send them back in as I'm being rested shortly. I don't know why they send so many, I've only had to return SMARTS about once every other month whilst doing the survey, we can request more if we need them as well.
