Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

Just a quick question about items received, as I can't find it in the help section.
I've had a letter from a business sender, when it gets to the key characteristics bit, it asks if the item was stamped or metered? No idea what that means, and it doesn't say in the help section - it just has the business frank on it which they've already asked about.
Suggestions?
The question is about the method of paying the postage charge.
The franking mark is made by a postage meter.0 -

Same here - I'm sure it makes it more obvious what we are up to. My postie actually commented that I'd stopped receiving the weird magazines I used to get. I had to think quickly and said that I had been taking part in a special offer trial where you received magazines and if you liked any of them you could subscribe at a discounted price. I didn't know I was such a good liar!
I hate lying to my postman because he's lovely!0 -
Any luck with the vouchers for the last Correctly Delivered Survey? I have another one starting next week, but no sign of the vouchers from the last one.0

I'm a newbie to this, and have been "on trial" for the past 4 weeks, during which I've done everything I've been asked. I've now received the following email:
"Thank you for posting items for the Royal Mail Survey for the past few weeks. Due to a space being oversubscribed, we are going to pause your participation for a few weeks.
We will let you know as soon as we have found another space for you. Meanwhile, you are able to continue participating on the Correctly Delivered survey."
Does this mean I've "passed"? Also what does it mean to continue participating on the Correctly Delivered survey?

Yeah, you have passed but there are too many people in your are a
on the survey. So, they have put you into rest while they find you a place. A correctly delivered survey is where you look at all the post you receive and make sure it has been sent to the right address and you just record how many items you receive everyday over two weeks. So, you will still get invited onto those. You get a £5 voucher when you do one of those.0 -

They do this regularly - the excuse being that they recruit more people than they actually need for any given area, and then get rid of the 'excess'.
Personally, I think this is pretty poor practice. People spend time on the trial run, do all the reading of what's required, and then get ditched with the vague, meaningless statement that "We will let you know as soon as we have found another space for you".
All you can do, really, is wait to see if a 'space' is found - presumably with the new 'resting' policy that should be within 6 months or so.0 -
