Am using internet explorer and have never had this problem before. Have sent them an email as there is no answer on the Helpline!

Are you running the site in Compatibility View? Look at the address bar at the top and you will see a torn page icon at the right hand side - click this to enable Compatibility View, I am currently using IE 10 with Compatibility View and have just logged into the site and have recorded details of a received item with no problems.

Thank you so much - that was the problem!!! Will remember that in future.

Hi all, can you tell me if I should be registering sender packs as 'items received'?

    No.

"Items received" are what you receive from other panelists (private or business).

[The only time you would "count" the sender packs is when you are doing a Correctly Delivered survey.]

Thanks Ana. Also when I was entering my received items I accidentally recorded that I had been left a 'you were out card' to pick item up at post office. It was for a different item entirely but there seems to be no way for me to go back and correct. Do you think it's a big enough deal for me to call them and let them know?

I had to do that with my new laptop with Windows 8, took me ages to work out what was the problem. Glad you got it working now.
