put all the required bits in the box and stick it with selotape/parcel tape

I was asked once about the box when I handed it in and just said I was returning some samples to someone and all the information they needed had already been put on the box before it was sent to me....its not actually a requirement that a sender detail is put on.
or otherwise just say youre posting it on behalf of someone else!

Thanks very much for your help. :D

Only received one item of post today

It was in a clear plastic package with a pre-payed card. The card stated Royal Mail Survey, please tick relevant boxes detailing who all items in the plastic bag were from and what they were, ie from a bank, mail shot.

The item in the package was a test item, had an R number and a SMART.
Appears Royal Mail randomly put mail in a plastic package and ask you to fill in a survey

I wonder if this had come out of an envelope (some of their envelopes do not stick very well) & because of the actual contents someone was wondering what it was all about.

Definitely ignore it otherwise you will be taken off the survey.

No the letter in the plastic package was sealed and addressed as normal, the card for the survey was anonymous

nah, these are standard surveys slapped on items at random(it appears)

i had one of these a couple of months ago...I think they are random and nothing to do with the postal measurments that we do as part of this panel....I believe its a seperate thing that is generated randomly my royal mail themselves.

I ignored the questionaire...basically because the contents of my mail is not of importance to royal mail...only the fact that they deliver it ontime...i see no reason why I should tell them if I receive a birthday card,a bank statement or indeed a test item!!!

For the first time since I started the survey in Nov, I have not received my stamps in with my June mailings. I've emailed them, but thus far no response. Wondering whether to withhold posting any more items until I receive it!

It does depend how long they could take to respond. In previous experience they send an email after something is not posted for two weeks to remind you. So, if after that you don't post they may remove you from the panel permanently.

Two weeks into May, I rang them to let them know that I hadn't received my May incentive stamps. They said to wait a couple more weeks in case they were put in the following packs, and if not to call them back.

This week, I rang again because I still hadn't received the stamps and a very helpful gentleman said he will look into the matter and arrange for them to be sent asap.

So, it may help if you give them a ring. :D Admittedly, their phones can be very busy and I don't leave a message for them to callback, but you do get through eventually. :D

    P.S. I received June's incentive this week. :D
