It's a small plastic packet with a thing inside that monitors their system. It's sort of brown ish and fits inside a small white DL envelope easily enough. You'll end up sending and receiving lots of these, they all have 4 letter codes on them which sometimes will be pre allocated and sometimes you allocate them from what you have in stock. You log the code from the list against what you post and also will log the code with any received items.

Thank you I saw it in package and sort of guessed so thank you for helping me with it Much appreciated.

Received my postings for 3 Jan - 11 Jan yesterday, it came in 3 large envelopes  I thought there had been a mistake at first, 8 items to post during that period, 5 of which are packages  can they ask you to do so many in such a short time? I am back at work then and will really struggle to do these as post office does not fit in with my work hours, just usually post things in the box outside.

I dont seem to have received any stamps for ages, the only ones I have received were the christmas ones with the diary, never received my normal stamps, I am sure when I did last year I got both lots. Did people receive both lots this year?

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. Yesterday one envelope arrived with no instructions, then today another two envelopes arrived with a total of 11 items to post! 5 packages and 6 envelopes, still cant believe it.

I also have not received any of my stamp incentives since the beginning of November and have had no reply to any of my emails! I am now more than a little fed up with it all if i am honest, having three big envelopes arrive and no incentive for nearly two months and the complete lack of replies to my queries and unable to get through on the phone has really put me off doing this any more.

If you have items scheduled to be posted at Post Office, you do not have to go into the PO & can use the post box outside.

I am assuming that the packages are the large envelopes containing plain paper so these should be OK in the postbox.

Remember you an use any post box that is within your postal area.

    Got my first pack today.

Can't believe they want me to post on Christmas Day though for my first task...
This has happened to me, I've had items that should be posted on bank holidays. What they said was post the item on the same day the following week, unfortunately for you the same day the following week is New Year's Day which is also a bank holiday. You would probably be best emailing them about it as I don't know if posting it two weeks later would be okay or if they would rather cancel the posting.

  • Hi
I also received three big envelopes full of mailings for 31st dec to 11 Jan
10 items for me to send, 4 packets and I also have had no stamps since early November. It seems that many of us have got no stamps sent to us..I really expected some to be in one of the envelopes.

I spoke to them just before 1pm with regard to both issues on the freephone number on their website, only open till 1pm. She is sending me my two months missing stamps.

Regarding the amount of large packs to post, she said it was out of their control and if I was not happy I could leave the panel. She told me to try posting one of the packages in the post box outside the post office and see if it fits. She said time was not important, as one of my issues was the times they gave me and being unable to get to the post office. I said I would give it a go.
  • Just after joining the panel, and waiting for an email from them :) How long does it usually take them to contact you after filling out the form? Thanks!

It depends if they require people in your area. Once they have a space they will contact you. :)

bit of an odd one, new to the royal mail survey, been doing the 'training' and posted I think, 3 weeks of letters, on my 4th week now, to post 2 items, one tomorrow and one on the 24th.

But recieved an email 2 days ago saying im going on a break, because they are oversubscribed in my area, do I still need to post these 2 items?

Plus I recieved another email earlier saying
