bit of an odd one, new to the royal mail survey, been doing the 'training' and posted I think, 3 weeks of letters, on my 4th week now, to post 2 items, one tomorrow and one on the 24th.

But recieved an email 2 days ago saying im going on a break, because they are oversubscribed in my area, do I still need to post these 2 items?

Plus I recieved another email earlier saying

Welcome to the Royal Mail Survey.

We have now registered your details to our live posting panel and you will receive your first Sender Pack in the week commencing 24/12/2012

You will receive an email to notify when your first pack is being prepared and despatched.

Please do not reply to this email. If you have any further queries, please direct them to our helpdesk at postalsurvey@tns-ri.co.uk.

So have they started me off on the training again?

Continue and post the last of the letters you have. However, I'm not sure if you have made it to the live panel or if they have too many people in your area.

I spoke to them just before 1pm with regard to both issues on the freephone number on their website, only open till 1pm. She is sending me my two months missing stamps.

Regarding the amount of large packs to post, she said it was out of their control and if I was not happy I could leave the panel. She told me to try posting one of the packages in the post box outside the post office and see if it fits. She said time was not important, as one of my issues was the times they gave me and being unable to get to the post office. I said I would give it a go.

Thanks, i tried again to get through today but there closed now till 2 January, so will try again then

Received my postings for 3 Jan - 11 Jan yesterday, it came in 3 large envelopes  I thought there had been a mistake at first, 8 items to post during that period, 5 of which are packages  can they ask you to do so many in such a short time? I am back at work then and will really struggle to do these as post office does not fit in with my work hours, just usually post things in the box outside.

I dont seem to have received any stamps for ages, the only ones I have received were the christmas ones with the diary, never received my normal stamps, I am sure when I did last year I got both lots. Did people receive both lots this year?

I've not received any stamps ( normal or Christmas ) or a diary either and got a silly amount of items and packages to post in January :(

Received two large envelopes of items to post through first two weeks of January, about 8 items in all.

Although I received the diary a few weeks ago, along with stamps, haven't received any more stamps. It seems a while since I received the last ones.

Same here. I got the "December" stamps in mid November, but none since, despite having received numerous test items to send into mid January.
• Looks like you good, honest, reliable MSE people have been taken for a ride. Shame on RI.

I'm currently "resting" but when on the full panel I kept a note of the week's schedule when the stamps arrived. This made it easier to check that stamps were arriving at the correct intervals because it is very easy not to remember when you receive them.

As I remember the stamps usually came with the schedule for about the 3rd week of the month - don't know if that ties up with now.

I had the odd occasion when I didn't receive any stamps but usually this was resolved immediately when I contacted them. However, towards the end before I was rested, I did not receive stamps for 2 months even though I had chased them and eventually managed to speak to someone because emails did not get answered. I did receive the stamps but whoever I spoke to was unhappy that she had to ask for 2 lots to be sent out and chided me for not telling them earlier - she was very quickly told I had tried to resolve the problem for over a month!

I still do other surveys for them so keep an eye on this thread. It does seem that there are more problems at the moment which seem to have increased since they changed the system and introduced 6 months on/6 months off which obviously is involving an increasing amount of training to be done.

Those of you having problems not receiving your stamps, I suggest you just persevere to resolve the problem and make sure you keep a record of any action/phone call you make to back things up.

The monthly stamps are your reward for doing the survey but everything else is an extra, some of which only go out to random members.

The issue around how many items you should post in a week is open to discussion but I found that over the year these averaged out to about 5 a week.

There are a number of us who have just completed some weeks on a special survey who have still not received our reward so it isn't just the stamps that are not being sent out.

Let's hope that when they come back in the New Year they pull their finger out and we all receive what is due to us.
• Good to know that other people are having problems. I am still waiting for my 2 vouchers for completing 2 lots of unaddressed mail surveys.

Just received £10 L2S voucher for the first two waves of the unaddressed mail survey.

Hope everyone else receives theirs now.
