  • I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with regards to the condition of the Presentation Pack set of stamps that I think are sent out twice during a 6 monthly stint on this? I received the Britons of Distinction Pack which had been put in the weekly large brown envelope and it was folded in two right across the pack as the postman pushed letter through the door. I gave them a ring, sent it back for a replacement, this time it's come on its own in a large white envelope......which the postman has had to fold in half, again right acroos the pack, and it's nerarly as bent, creased and folded as the first one. A smaller envelope and / or a little bit of cardboard backing and it would be fine.

It is just a little bonus though so id just take them as they are. They generally arent worth collecting anyhow so just use the stamps or sell them for the stamps.
  • Do you remember the "yellow letter" asking us to let them know about the senders of mail which had used non-Royal Mail service (but then delivered by RM)?

I did respond but never received an acknowledgement.

Did anyone else send them details? Did they thank you?

I sent them a few emails with details of various letters I'd received but never heard anything back.

I was 'retired' from the survey 6 months ago and thought I would have heard by now that I am due to start up again. Anyone else in the same position or did you have to wait more than the 6 month 'resting period'?

(Just thought I would ask as I could do with a few more stamps for Xmas cards) ;)

Me too, its over 6 months now for me, I e mailed them and they said when there is a vacancy in my area they will be in touch, so I guess will just have to wait and hope one comes up soon. I have now used up all my stamps and had to start buying them now
  • Sorry being bit lazy here but this is a very long thread to go through...

I have just been emailed about joining this & wanted to check how far away they expect you to post things?
It says in the FAQs anywhere within your postcode area & I'm wondering whether to bother as I don't have access to a car all the time.
I assumed it would be more local than that, do they ask you to use different postboxes/offices which may be a distance away??
(Sorry if you have discussed this already.)

I think you have misunderstood them - you choose which postbox(es) and which post office(s) you want to post at - but they must be within your postcode area

Have just been invited back - think it's been around 5 and a half months.
Am really glad as our post is awful at present (due to changes in the local sorting office) and I've had several things go missing recently, so if the same happens to test items, perhaps they'll take more notice !

Great, thank you - I wasn't sure from the way it was worded.
