That's what's confusing me too, if it is only meant to be what RM deliver then what if you were out when postie came and there was already junk mail there by someone else! I only had one picture to look out for last week which came on first day.

It's a bit confusing! There are some guidelines on the news and features page and it mentions:

"During your time on the Unaddressed Mail Measurement you will be measuring receipt of actual (live) mail items delivered by Royal Mail and other companies."

I just assumed they want us to keep a record of every item of unaddressed mail that we receive.

I phoned to try to clarify for myself, I was told, if you can be 100% certain that unadressed mail/leaflets were not delivered by your postman then don't include them, but if you are uncertain because you are at work or out when they are delivered then include them.

I am a bit worried though as I have had 2 items that should be delivered according to my survey page but neither have been as yet, in fact my postie has not bought any unaddressed mail as yet(Although I must admit to getting hardly any in my area anyway), I must be due some virgin rubbish at the very least though!

I haven't had much either. I had one bit of mail that was listed on my account and the same day I received a pizza leaflet, which was wrapped round it, so I assumed the postman had delivered that too! :rotfl:

Thanks for clarifying, at least it is just what the postie brings (as long as we are at home then so it doesn't get confused by umpteen kebab/pizza menus!) though as others mentioned the inclusion of Sunday was confusing - not sure even in London before Christmas we would get deliveries on a Sunday!

So far from the postie I've had Virgin, Skoda, Crisis, Farmfoods, boiler repair and one other I've forgotten - so 72 extra bits of crap put through our letterbox :mad:

Other than the 4 listed items I have only had 1 thing since this started.

Wonder if they have "lost" them at the sorting office as apparently ours is backed up with post at the moment!

I haven't had any post at all for two days (addressed or unaddressed), this is really unusual as its a rare day when I have no post (even allowing for the fact this is my last week doing the main survey). I get a bit suspicious sometimes that, on Mondays in particular, they sometimes leave it until the next day - but there was no post Tuesday either. Glad I'm having a few months off as having to sometimes go out and post items 6 days a week (or twist my husband's arm to do it, lol) was getting a bit wearing, especially now the cold weather is setting in

I've noticed here we sometimes have no post on Monday lately which, for a block of flats, I find suspicious especially when I don't even see the postman in the road. We rarely even get our post before lunchtime as it is, quite a poor service.

I'm enjoying not doing the main survey for that reason!
