we tried to ship a pallet out there and even using legitimate companys such as UPS/DHL you are still required to bung customs a few rubles!!

i can see this price hike backfiring on RM. i mean theres a bbc news link that says there has been a 25 per cent reduction in things being posted. thats largely due to the internet , email, texting etc

so the BIG price hike will put off a lot of people using the RM. u can see the RM losing its monopoly on delvering the post soon

It may be relatively good value and good service compared with some other countries, BUT that doesn't stop us feeling ripped off by a 30% price rise all at once. Maybe they think we're punch drunk after the budget and will just accept anything without a murmur.

I haven't really worked out why RM is doing so badly when so many ebay and other internet shoppers use them.

Does anyone know of anywhere offering 5% off? Know Superdrug and WHS used to but not sure if they are anymore or if there are other offers elsewhere: is it possible to get clubcard/nectar/boots-advantage points on stamp purchases does anyone know?

The last one arrived at its destination and it only took a month!

I think they scanned it noticed it was chocolates and decided to scoff them as their bribe

According to an enormous current HUKD thread it's stilll 5% off at WHS (1st and 2nd) and Superdrug (1st only). I haven't checked that, though.
