    Tenth Anniversary
The WH Smith one seems to have expired as they were full price when I checked earlier this morning.
  • i can see this price hike backfiring on RM. i mean theres a bbc news link that says there has been a 25 per cent reduction in things being posted. thats largely due to the internet , email, texting etc

so the BIG price hike will put off a lot of people using the RM. u can see the RM losing its monopoly on delvering the post soon

That is the intention....and thus pathing the way for privatisation

My local sub-postoffice is rationing books of stamps to 3 per person per visit - before it runs out......

You can buy stamps from the Royal mail website. No rationing there, as far as I know.

It would be really useful to know whether anyone knows of any discounts?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I saw Superdrug mentioned as a possibility, but nobody confirmed yes or no.

I don't know about 2nd class, but I purchased some 1st class at Superdrug yesterday at a 5% discount.

I got some from SD yesterday aswell.
Discount is only on 1st class, but after the price change, these will be cheaper than 2nd class stamps!

Staples has free delivery and can get 9.09% from TCB

DOn'T USE STAPLES - they will not allow you to buy stramps only and free delivery was not allowed, so they cancelled my order

Do they give the 9% on stamps?
