I'll tell you a little story. Even when I used to work as a projects manager in the Ministry of Defence, with people using underhanded methods I never once got rattled. I built up a reputation of cutting through the rhetoric and getting the Job done. The projects I was in charge of all made profit and were achieved in advance of schedule which was unlike other projects. I tend to find that people who have too much time on their hands to waste don't like it because it shows them up because I work hard.

Projects manager in the MOD. Strange terminology.

How do projects in the MOD make a profit? Strange terminology

Projects achieved ahead of time? Strange terminology!

What grade/rank were you? Civil Servant or military?

Bet you shy away from that subject pretty quickly!

My goodness you have done a lot of things in your time, and you now sell gas and electricity?

Yet again a typically disingenuous answer, designed to mislead.

UW do not give discounts for gas and electricity as far as I am aware.

Do you dispute that someone with average consumption(20,500kWh gas and 3,300) will pay approx £300 a year more than the cheapest tariff - approx 30% more?

A simple 'yes' or 'no' will do!

You know, I know and anyone with any common sense knows that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity in UK.

That message is getting across to people - especially existing UW customers.

Your quote about my answer being disingenuous is nonsense. You use that word to try to impress, but it does not hinder me cardew. I answered your many misguided accusations with one sentence that disproves how misguided your opinion is. The truth is what you say distorts the truth, you merely use the word disingenuous to try to misguide people. That's quite underhanded really.

You don't like it when I come on here because you know I can take you all on at the same time. Then I go away for a while and you can relax back into your usual propaganda because you know I am busy and you have too much time on your hands. You have already started your bluffing and using the disingenuous word so I already know that your cards are already on the table for all to see. So I know I have already got you. You just like to think you are difficult to pin down.

It shows how misguided you are if you deny that UW have any discounts. You try in vain to try to make out UW as being a gas and electricity only company. Unlike the companies that you seem to love as you know UW provide many services other than gas and electricity as a combined package. Also a number of discounts some of which are not available elsewhere. This is where your argument falls down.

Do you also deny that you pay more than 3 times as much as me for your choice of a number of suppliers than I do yet going by your argument I should be paying more than 30% more than you.

The UW Cashback Card has been very popular with UW customers and they are using it. It's because they realise it exists. Going by your post you claimed it didn't.

I know you don't like to be proved wrong but I seriously do worry about you. You spend all day everyday on here trying to undermine UW. Yet it is very easy to show where your error is as I have already done. I am not bothered personally where people go for their services, it's up to them after all and I never try to persuade people, yet you have developed a strange need to try to persuade people that UW is bad.

Is this your answer to me asking you:

I have never "advertised" any card. This thread is for discussing uw, not to make an aunt sally for uw reps/supporters to have a go at!

If you cannot find any other card on the web, then you must have the same strange condition Monsieur Wenger suffers from when not seeing things he doesn't want to!

I never "inferred" anything regarding Nigewick, as you know - I asked him a question (last May, I think!)!

(However Nigewick has most definitely spun some propaganda here regarding the customer service at uw (which he has referred to as atrocious when discussing it with other reps!)

I wonder what Nigewick would think of what you said.

So where is this UW beating cashback card then Quentin? Have you got a link to it. Or am I merely wasting my time asking again.

The only people who don't like to see you here will be your people at UW HO. We know they take a dim view of any reps bringing UW into disrepute. You have beaten all others in this regard.

Wonder how they feel about you coming into this very public place and accusing posters of "bearing false witness on others", and your disgusting, upsetting and blasphemous jibe at another poster, telling him "God wasted his time when he created you".

You should keep on coming here and letting us all see!

Still avoiding any answers about UW prices I note!

Where did Quentin say 'UW beating cashcard'?

    Did you not read this?
I suspect that if Quentin gave detail of a cashcard that gave similar discounts to the UW card - then all discussion would be centered on the merits/demerits of the cashcard and not on UW's high prices.

This article in the Times gave detail of the babee card.

    http://timesbusiness.typepad.com/mon...rd-before.html

    http://www.prepaid365.com/the-babee-...w-at-P365.html

This enables you to get 5% discount at Sainsburys and 7% at Waitrose(a shop I like) as well as discounts of up to 20% in other stores.

Now I have no idea of the merits/demerits of the card which I believe is connected to Mastercard. So I am not getting into any discussion on the card, and will readily concede that in all probability the UW card is superior.

Surely a 'projects manager in MOD' would be a little more precise in his terminology - not that you will want to discuss that facet of your many careers(bet it was 'top secret' eh?;))

Not a lot he can say.

Elsewhere in a discussion on the poor service from the UW service team he posted that when dealing with the UW service team that he had "some fairly atrocious" experiences.

Yet here he posted for our benefit:

The customer service call centre is in England, and, on the few occasions when I have messed up and needed technical advice, the people I have spoken to have been very helpful as well as knowledgeable.

    Both statements cannot be true.

You must be a true believer then, only the misguided can say they make mistakes but still believe their own propaganda.

I feel sorry for you but even sorrier for those poor friends and family that trusted you to sign up for one of the most expensive tariffs in the UK for gas and electricity.

Yet to see you justify the very high prices on offer from UW, but that's nothing new, you never do answer a direct question in regard to them. After all, even the fanatic can't justify the outrageous..

You don't mind if I just refrain from being side stepped with your strange desire to undermine UW Distributors by whatever means possible. I see straight through you Quentin. You are transparent.

Your arguments always prove to fall down so that is why you have to resort to this sort of behavior. Come on just admit to yourself you have too much time on your hands to do something constructive. You have been shown to break into Distributor internet sites before in order to try to find something to bring up about people only to be proved wrong. That was just stalking someone. You just prove yourself to be a very strange fellow if you do things like that. It's not normal behavior. Of course I wasn't on any of those websites so you couldn't infer anything about me. All you end up doing is show a trail of evidence on here as to how strange your behavior is.

I haven't "stalked" anyone at all! (Nor "broken into internet distributor websites" - what do you mean by that?). Are you suggesting I am a hacker?

I see you have no comment at all regarding your disgraceful blasphemy which you posted here!
