UWDC pay no money to energylinx when someone swaps using them. Are you saying that because you really know, or because you read it on the UW website or their sales blurb?

You seem to hold yourself up in high esteem if you believe I should believe your assumptions. The difference is I already know what I am am talking about, you clearly don't. What you are saying is merely false because for some reason you feel the need to try to discredit something or someone. Another wannabe expert trying it on again.

As I said, scratched record, you say they are all falsehoods because you dont have the answers, thats all. If you really knew what you were talking about you would have answers to the questions asked.

Where is that assuring Consumer Focus logo on the UW website Vinny?

Its there on all the comparison sites...

Any more diversionary tactics. Anyone got anything useful to say. I mean seriously, there's one of me and three of you, yet you still keep losing.

Still none are actually getting a better deal themselves but bark their self appointed expert knowledge at everyone. All the talk, diversion, incorrect statements, false assumptions and bravado is just boring now. Each time you just fail at the core because your knowledge is lacking. The thread long ago became meaningless because the forum moderator chooses not to ban certain people who continue to put up false posts. The reason is the moderator doesn't actually know either.

Anyone actually getting a better deal themselves than carmine?

I don't have a regular job as such.

I'm a relocation consultant and private landlord. I can go from working no hours in a week to over 80 in the last and first week of a month.

    Yes I am!

My gas and Electricity is £800 less than I would pay with UW.

My Broadband and phone deal with BT is much better than the UW offering - far more facilities:

    Wireless router

    Comprehensive security package included

    second hub phone

Wi-Fi minutes in most locations in UK

    All calls free 24/7

    caller ID

    Callminder

large discounts as I have been a loyal customer.

    Any other questions?

The record sounds scratched because it has to be played a lot. If people didn't keep coming out with the same old drivel and concocted assumptions I wouldn't have to correct you all. So where do you get your expert knowledge from then Inspector Clouseau. You trying to tell me again you know more than me about UWDC or the Honorary Charles Wigoder or the other directors of UWDC. The questions have already been answered months ago and recently a number of times or did you not see it, or chose to ignore it. All it is, is that you simply won't back down on this even though I know you are wrong. You won't back down because it will show you up.

I bounce it back to you. I challenge you that you don't really know what you are talking about.

Well, myself for one and many millions of others
I've just carried out a comparison on uSwitch for my own usage, swapping to UW Dual Fuel High User Option would cost me an extra £1908.09 more than the current cheapest tariff available.

Do you think your 5% discount card would benefit me. ??

Your original claim was that I was on here all the time.

More Nonsense. I never claimed/said anything of the sort.

I read recently that distributors are told in training that UW is unlikely to be the cheapest option for the majority of people, but that they should sell the simplicity of the single bill etc and gloss over the price. Can any distributor confirm if this is correct?

Would have to be looked into. Not sure what your situation currently is. If you were willing to spend more than about £580 on the cashback card in the many partner stores per year then it would mean you would be in profit because this covers the cost of running the card and the UWDC membership fee. However, depending on which services you took or were able to take then the membership fee can be negated by other discounts or savings. It all depends on your situation.

Be interesting what sort of usage you have but I presume you are currently a landlord with a number of properties so obviously very high usage combined over a number of properties. Are any of the houses using economy 7.

The Troll's challenge has been beaten time and time again.

However whenever it is beaten, we are then shunted off to interminal discussions about the value of all the calls he need to make to Basutoland or wherever!

Beat his challenge - easy! He gets his gas and electricity from a cheap supplier to save hundreds of pounds and gets Broadcall from UW and retains his card.

Exactly what Jannienew did after seing the sense of the points made on this thread. She got rid of the hugely expensive UW gas and Electricty and went to EDF. Retained just her phone and card.

The cost of calls these days are tiny. With Skype you can call all over the world, including UK for very little - free when Skype to Skype.

The central point, which you keep trying to avoid, is that UW gas and electricity is the just about the most expensive in UK - £hundreds more expensive than the cheapest or around 30% more expensive.

Ooohh, that bold text, so masterful. :p

Who's going to pay for my calls? I calculate they would have cost me over £30 last month. I have even been able to cancel a £20 monthly contract mobile due to using the landline instead. I think we have already established that £55 for

    Gas 1620
    Leccy 390

...is unbeatable in the marketplace (it's actually quite a bit less than I would be paying on the tariff you have been paying for nearly 5 years, which I know must be embarrassing for you).

    Any more ideas?

My turn to be masterful now...

And are you finally ready to admit you have never used a cashback card in your life, judging by the fact you totally ignore the question every time?
