You really are sounding like a scratched record now.

Are you saying that going to Energylinx and signing up to UW and earning £34 cashback is a false claim? You seem to keep ignoring that FACT.

Do you seriously think Energylinx will fund that £34 from their own pocket?

Do you completely disreguard the fact that all the Energy comparison sites are monitored by Consumer focus to be accurate?

Is the chart on the UW website that (laughably) tells you how much you could save accredited by consumer focus? I cant see the logo anywhere..

You seem to go to great lengths to discredit the comparison sites but I would still trust them FAR more than a useless "calculator" that just asks your postcode, size of house and how many people live in it. How the hell can that be more accurate than a comparison site that asks for you current supplier and tariff and kwh usage???

You claim a fact, but the truth is you have just concocted something, you do not actually know what the truth is in fact do you. I didn't ignore your previous post I was merely answering all the other false accusations and false statements from the others who have the cheek to think they know more than me about UWDC when they clearly do not know. Look up the details in the UWDC company records that on its website, you will see that no money is spent on advertising in any year of operation. There is no money paid to Energylinx either or any of the online energy switching sites who derive funding from the big 6.

The motive of your post was to attempt to undermine me. You concocted a false accusation that you do not know the truth to. You will have to try harder to try to undermine me than this. I just lots of failed attempts.

Have you not seen that you also are merely ignoring the many UWDC discounts.

No actually it doesn't. A number of things you choose to miss.
    • NPower has advertising costs, UWDC doesn't. Yet Npower are STILL cheaper, strange eh?
    • You have looked at the online energy switching company that claim to be independent price that includes the membership fee twice. Even if the comparison site didnt include the membership fee at all UW would still show up as £££s more expensive
    • online energy switching company doesn't include any UWDC discounts. Take a look on the same comparison site at another small company Ovo energy, they dont show any discounts for them either, mainly because they dont give ANY discounts! But still, without giving ANY discounts they are still £££s cheaper than UW

A few other misconceptions the average expert on UWDC thinks
    • UWDC is not merely a reseller of NPower as you suggest. So just what is a company that buys something from one company and sells it under their own brand at a premium called then?
    • NPower do not own UWDC. Dont recall anyone saying they did.

Now have you got any other false statements to be shown to be untrue or do you accept your failure, yet again.

Just highlighted a few things you chose to miss too...

Other companies who don't pay comparison websites see it as a plus point, (eg direct line), and make sure they let their customers know.

Yet there is no mention of this on the uw website. (In fact only the reps mention it, and presumably they don't officially speak for the uw!)

But there is mention of this payment made by the suppliers on the switching sites.

eg. are you saying the Which? switching website is lying when it states that it receives a payment from all companies to whom it has supplied a customer?

This is from the Which? switching website:
Which? has agreements in place with suppliers and receives an administration fee for each new contract switched to via its switching service. The fee covers the administration to enable you to switch directly.

    :rotfl:

So what have I concocted then?

The FACT that someone can switch to UW via Energylinx?

The FACT that that person will get £34 for switching to UW via Energylinx?

The FACT that comparison websites earn a commision from the companies they switch people to?

You tell me to look up the company records on the UW website but why should I believe anything on that site when the "Savings calculator" is so laughably incorrect its not even got the consumer focus approval that the switching websites have?

Maybe you can point me to the Consumer Focus accredition logo on the UW site because I couldnt find it. If there isnt one can you tell me why?

Of course, I dont actually expect you to answer these questions, you are more likely to come out with the same old drivel you always do, saying they are falsehoods and accusations etc.

I asked you to try harder.

However, simple. You are still missing out the many UWDC discounts in your comparison but choose to include them with NPower. You include the membership fee in comparison when in reality the many UWDC discounts far exceed the membership fee.

Where do all the energy providers buy their energy from?

So exactly what discounts do UW customers get off their gas and electricity? Apart from the £100 "loyalty" bonus at the end of the year?

Bear in mind that £100 is a 'one off' payment for new customers only!

UWDC pay no money to energylinx when someone swaps using them.

You seem to hold yourself up in high esteem if you believe I should believe your assumptions. The difference is I already know what I am am talking about, you clearly don't. What you are saying is merely false because for some reason you feel the need to try to discredit something or someone. Another wannabe expert trying it on again.

They have already been details many times before. For a so called expert you sound as if you don't really know much.

Which is another reason why its not listed by the comparison sites I believe, they usually only list actual year on year discounts.

Also, another point I've just thought of, comparison sites dont include prompt payment discounts in their comparisons for ANY of the suppliers, because the site doesnt know if the customer is going to pay promptly or not, but I'm yet to see any of the official reps from the other suppliers on here whining that those discounts arent taken into account.

Just in the same way, they dont know if you are going to take out a prepayment credit card and do all of your shopping at Sainsburys and jump through god knows how many other hoops to get the ridiculous prices down.
