Then why not pretend to put me on 'ignore' again? You promised last time I would never darken your virtual door again.
Why would I be angry? Indeed I get pleasure in exposing your hypocrisy on this forum.0 -
Not an ounce of objectivity shown and not a shred of credibility retained.
Surely he displays his 'objectivity' by being a customer of his preferred supplier or the company that works best for him/her? If, indeed, you can be objective on a forum like this. Surely by going with one supplier over another for whatever reason means that you would look hypocritical 'championing' someone else...Utility Warehouse Distributor/Professional Network Marketer0 -

Do you honestly think Quentin will fall for that line?
He has posted links to a lot of UW 'training videos, which you have stated is illegal(stealing bandwidth).
Now you want him to post a link -Mmm.
Your mate keggs, and others, have not denied the accuracy of Quentin's posts from that site - merely complained of unauthorised access.
In any case what would be the good of posting a link? You need to get through the 'multi levels' of security!!0 -

Do you seriously think that Carmine displays any objectivity in this thread?
Now for UW my definition of objectivity would be:
1. UW have without doubt some of the most expensive gas and electricity in UK and most people will pay UW £hundreds more for their gas and electricity than they need.
2. UW have a competitive phone/broadband service - however not the cheapest.
3. UW have an excellent cashcard that will enable you to reduce the costs of UW services - if the shops they use suit their spending habits and they are prepared to pay cash in advance on the card.
4. For the vast majority of people, if they want to have this cashcard, it makes financial sense to have a UW service(s) other than gas and electricity.
5. Paying for all services monthly on the one bill is attractive to some people.
I would contend:
1. That a lot of the sales methods of UW IDs are a disgrace.
2. That their small print is far worse than most Utility companies e.g TVG
3. That with 30,000 UW salesmen we are flooded with inaccurate, misleading information on the merits of UW - e.g untrue WHICH Best Buy claims, false testimonials on every possible internet site.
4. That to sell UW gas and electricity to family and friends(particularly before the introduction of the cash card) means UW IDs put lining their own pockets as a priority; and their family's financial interests as a secondary consideration.0 -

Indeed, if he could produce such a link I would have thought he'd jump at the chance. I'd like to read these threads myself in their intended context.
You are not adverse to jumping in to comment yourself, and besides Quentin is the shy retiring type and easily intimidated, so I thought I would intervene.
I thought we were talking about this UW ID's website to which Quentin has access?
I also would love to see all the detail from that site. Perhaps if he posts a lot more some UW IDs could vouch for it's accuracy.0 -
There may be more to this than meets the eye.
Over at the uw reps forum they discuss, (and are scathing), about MSE, (as a whole, not just this thread).
As long ago as May, "Carmine" was referred to there by keggs as "doing" the replies for the reps in this thread, and the others urged not to get involved in posting on this thread!
For those of you who don't have the same priviledges as Quentin and to put this quote in context, over at the uw reps forum (note the words "uw reps forum"). There are nearly 2,600 posts of which 1 (one) quotes Carmine.I haven't contributed much until just recently and I only did so to provoke a response. Carmine seems to do most of it for us.
My take on this is that "Carmine" responds to posts where he feels it is appropriate - hardly a case of "doing" the replies for the reps.
Also, Quentin suggests that this is all one quote, which of course it isn't. (No surprise there). In fact the above quote was posted at the end of April and the rest of the quoted sentence was posted on 14th July on an entirely different thread. Poetic licence? - you decide.

I believe where relevant, Swanjon makes his affiliation with his employer known. If you believe he has transgressed forum rules, I suggest you contact a MSE moderator.
