Do you seriously think that Carmine displays any objectivity in this thread?
More than you have. He has stated that he distrusts all energy suppliers but accepts that he must buy from somebody. He checked his figures and decided that at this time, Utility Warehouse is his best deal. He posted his requirements in this thread and asked if anybody could get him a better deal. So far nobody has. He has become a customer of Utility Warehouse because it suits his wants.

You on the other hand insist that Utility Warehouse prices are among the most expensive even when there is evidence to show that some people can pay less than with any other supplier.

Carmine has repeatedly attacked every other energy supplier for exit penalties and such like. Then when UW use exactly the same trick, no a word. Why?

= from keggs I haven't contributed much until just recently and I only did so to provoke a response. Carmine seems to do most of it for us.

My take on this is that "Carmine" responds to posts where he feels it is appropriate - hardly a case of "doing" the replies for the reps.

    Mike,
Well 'my take' on kegg's above quote was that his posting was exactly as he states i.e. to "provoke a response" and that is exactly what keggs does from time to time. He deliberately posts to get a reaction.

Where does keggs use the term 'respond' about Carmine or himself.

Carmine posts to 'provoke a response' would be my very clear reading of kegg's post.

    P.S.
What chance a 'Mandy Rice-Davies' retort from keggs?

Have they? Is this the £100 'exit penalty' that is actually a reward for staying?

If you owned shares in a company, but sold them, would you expect a dividend from that company? What's the difference?

You've got to have exceptionally warped thinking to call a loyalty bonus an exit penalty!

If you leave before 12 months you lose 100 quid, so yes its an exit penalty.

You didn't have it in the first place. You'd be no worse off.

    :rotfl:

Are you Alastair Campbell? He would be proud of the spin you put on a devious exit penalty. Not to mention the disgraceful way that current UW customers have been shamefully ignored. Plus the various hoops you have to jump through in the first place, it all adds up to a shocker.

Nonetheless it is a matter of public record that in the past Carmine has referred to NPower's similar discount (payable after one year) as "effectively an exit fee under another name".

But now the goalposts have shifted. Again.

Because there is no "penalty." One just does not get the "bonus."

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.
