Yeah, but Portillo's father was, IIRC, a Communist...
edit: scrub that, he was a Spanish republican.
Further edit: scrub that, he almost WAS a communist, lol.
Further edit: No idea what his politics were now but I've just discovered Portillos middle name is Denzil, that made me smile. Although not as much as when the name of the huge lump of a copper who smacked that little anarchist across the face in the 'riots' was revealed - Delroy Smellie!! :rotfl:Call me Carmine....

Didn't know that. Funny old world.0 -
Hey Cardew, I just happened to have received my leccy bill last week, so I know what my price per unit charges are.
At least UW are homest enoughto tell you how much your 'service charge' is unlike BG who hide it in the first 200 units.
QUOTE]
So from that bill would you confirm the prices you are paying with UW?
Just to remind you this is what you posted:
I told him I pay 11.35p/unit dayrate & 3.5p/unit nights.
Now I stated that this is not correct.
So who is correct, thee or me?
Incidentally if you post your consumption figures we can see what BG would charge.0 -

Cardew,
patman99 likes what he gets. He's seen his leccy bill. It's his choice, not yours.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

You seem to have got your confidence back - but not your credibility.
Have 'your people' come back about Click 5 yet?
What about UW 'blowing BT out of the water' on Standalone charges?
Go give keggs some lessons! You impress him.0 -

That is not in dispute, or the issue.
Justifying his choice with incorrect tariff rates - that might influence others - is all I challenged him about.
Now Maz instead of the generalities that you seem so keen to post, how about some specifics.
Do you believe patman99 is correct about what he pays?
You know tariffs inside out as every one of your customers apparently saves with you, so you must know about tariffs to work that out.
So come on, let us talk about UW tariffs for a change. Is it possible for patman99 to pay what he claimed?
What is the betting you won't answer?0 -
