No. You actually quoted the post you now claim "didn't actually bother to read"

Then produced your red herring (or was it spam) about your "new" forum.

Others will wonder why you always continue to protest your innocence when we can all see the evidence of your own contradictions!

(Another example was your denial that for a year you have been telling this forum you are making savings via the risky cashback card, when in fact you haven't even got one!)

    That is undisputed!

But when you post here under the guise of a uw rep, then it all helps others to get an impression of the company and its reps you tell us are "decent".

If you have access then post links here to priveledged info, are you not then in breach of their copyright as well? Again, risky business if those involved chose to take it further.

Thanks for your concern, but don't worry. They don't seem bothered about their "copyright", and their videos are splashed all over the net, easily googled, and they seem to encourage the widespread use of youtube to get their videos to a wider audience
I know the CEO can be easily found, but can the Executive Services phone no.?

If you want to ring their CEO and discuss the matter, he may be hard to get hold of???
  • Actually I've spoken to charles myself. He is quite approachable really. You could contact him if you want to Quentin.

To register at the networkerplus site I understand needs certain UW information. Is the information generally available? I know the CEO can be easily found, but can the Executive Services phone no.? If you are a registered member there but not a UW distributor, are you not in breach of their rules? If you have access then post links here to priveledged info, are you not then in breach of their copyright as well? Again, risky business if those involved chose to take it further.

I contacted the person who runs the networkerplus site some time ago as I realised that some of the information Quentin found could only have come from this site. At that time, although a site supposedly for just UW IDs I think anyone could join - the security level was very mild. I don't think the site, its creators or members expected information published or discussed would be used for 'altruistic reasons' :rotfl:by someone who wasn't actually a member of the UW club or an ID.

I was personally shocked when information I posted there was then used on this site to attack me and other IDs. I therefore took it upon myself to contact the site owner who instigated another layer of security. We all thought taht would solve the situation. Howver, recent posts by this same individual - Quentin - made me wonder how he was bypassing the security put in place. He obviously knows the required password. A determined person like Quentin will not be put off by a small matter of a password.

I have since been in touch with the site owner to alert him. I have made a suggestion. Hopefully it can be implemented and will work.

Networker plus was set up to help and support all Utility Warehouse Authorised Distributors. Irrespective of whether Quentin's morality finds what we discuss at the site or is piblished the site is supported by the company and presumably is monitored to ensure what is posted or discussed does not breach company policies or legal tenets.

I hope that helps understand hoiw this person can have access to a well used resource. If it is his intention to try and destroy everything to do with with UW then using a resource like this is a very good way of doing it. But IDs are vigilant and will not allow such people to deflect from the good work done by and basic decency of UW IDs.
  • I guess Quentin in his quest of philanthropy and altruism thinks that breaking into a site restricted to UW Distributors for the sole purpose of attempting to try harm the reputation of UW distributors is OK. Shame this act backfire on his attempts and shows him up to be just a naughty boy.

In fact your colleagues warn you (as you are the main offender when it comes to criticising uw there) not to be so critical of uw over on that forum (eg you have a thread there (started by keggs) entitled "Why is UW letting us down" (still say you are "very happy" with uw, or do you just say it here?)

A typical comment aimed at keggs by one of his 30,000 colleagues regarding his posts on the reps forum:
My understanding is, the "security" login feature was added because posts on this forum were appearing on UW bashing forums. Just remember, nothing is secure. This site should be treated as if it were a public site because in reality that is what it currently is.

So, can I encourage everyone to keep the forum positive and if your are having a bad hair day pick up the phone and call your sponsor or upline - don't broadcast it to the world.

If the owners have access to the servers the board is hosted on, it will be very easy to install anti-leeching code to prevent linking from working from external sites to the networker plus domain space. You can do it for any file type hosted on a website.

    Thanks

I'll pass what you said on.
