Just a quick reminder to all you UW 'guillables'! Don't forget to input your meter readings today! I wonder if I will get a negative bill again this month? Its been a couple of months now since I paid for my utilities thanks to my 'risky' cashback card!!

Have a good day all! :D

10% of UW's customer base are salesmen for their product.

And of course these salesmen are encouraged to do their selling to what uw calls their "warm" list. ie. Their friends and relations.

On average each rep has just 9 customers. So how many of the respondees if not actually a rep themselves were closely associated or related to a uw rep?

I've already contacted Jez once again for his behaviour. I've made a suggestion to him which hopefully will solve the problem once and for all.

When giving your suggestion to Jez from the uw reps forum, did you confess your duplicity over this, and that you have posted here encouraging us to visit his forum and to contribute to it by posting there?

Thanks for that, janninew, input mine earlier this morning.

    Gas 285
    Electric 352

Cashback card discount a not inconsiderable £51

If you consider £24.99/mth for unlimited up to 24mb BB, phoneline rental and all calls (there will be over 300 this month, including Intl ones) an unbeatable price in the marketplace..then my gas and electric came to approx £4 this month. :D Same gas and leccy on BGs Price Protection April 2009 (fixed since 2005) would be approx £36 (but do check these figures as i'm hopeless at maths)...

The new forum is not run by Jez - it's been created by another new ID. And i's going quite well. At least people talk to each other without throwing unfounded and unwarranted accusations.

As for requesting your contribution on Networkerplus why not. You joined so why not vent your feelings properly and out in the open with all other IDs who contribute. You never know Quentin you might just get a favourable response to any altruistic comment you care to make. You did tell us after all that your only reason for telling everyone how despicable UW is and its IDs are for philanthropic and altruitsic reasons. So why not take your message to the lion's den.

It's the risk you are taking that i'm trying to get you all to realise.

Nice to see someone from the uw reps/members forum returning to MSE for such altruistic reasons.
  • I would have thought if Quentin has access to the UW reps forum he wouldn't be able to resist posting the link to his UW-beating prepaid cashback card. Wait a minute...

But it was Jez's forum you encouraged me to contribute to.

Mentioning the Rael's "new" reps/members forum is a red herring, and probably just you spamming it again!

So there you go again, insinuating collusion and conspiracy on several levels. Can you prove what you allege to be fact? If you can't, then you leave yourself open to reprisal if any company chooses to do so and picks up on what has been written as potentially detrimental to it's reputation. It's the risk you are taking that i'm trying to get you all to realise. Whether I think it's libellous or not is not the issue.

You are absolutely correct - your opinion on libellous comments is not the issue.

My opinion is that you do not understand the law of libel.

What on earth is libellous about this statement?

Have you seen the accusations on the Utilities forum flatly accusing many companies of fraud, cartels, criminal conspiracy.

So of course the Which survey is wide open to manipulation.

Respondees don't even have to have a gas and electricity account, let alone be a customer of a specific firm.

You appear to want to curb any criticism of UW.

Actually I misread your post originally which is why I edited.

As usual you are very quick to make accusations without knowing the real facts.
