Are you not supposed to declare you are a UW salesperson?
I am surprised that Eon reps feel they cannot compete with UW because all of the Big 6 have gas and electricity that is much much cheaper than anything UW has to offer.
It's what happened.
If you don't like it, that's your problem mate. I don't really give a tuppenny !!!!!!.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

As an aside, I find it easier to find customers among people I do not know, or, only know slightly, than family as my Mum was the most sceptical person on the planet. That was until my brother showed her the savings he was making. Then she became a customer and told her brother how to save on phone bills too.

It is a fact that I pay less to Utility Warehouse for my gas and electricity than I would to any other company. How do you explain that, you know, as you claim their prices are high?

That's just the thing - he can't so doesn't. I think Cardew has now turned into a non-responding public service-type spambot in this thread. But new readers should always be wary of accepting the word of someone who has been caught lying and posting intentionally misleading info in this thread in the past.
PS I also pay much less for my utilities from UW than I would with any other company. I actually pay the same tariff rate now (i.e. 2009) that Cardew has been paying since 2005. I wonder how he would explain that?Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Yep. Keep 50 customers happy and the money continues. Also, if you keep 50 happy, there is an excellent chance of getting some referrals to increase that customer base, and, perhaps find somebody else who wants to make a few quid.

My mum was a customer before she passed on. I wasn't going to mention anything to her but Eon phoned her. As she was deaf she couldn't make out what they were saying. I took the call. The rep gave the usual gabage but when I told them that I could get her a better deal they asked who I was with. I got the normal reply that you are probably right.
My mum was wondering what was going on so I explained and signed her up. Quentin has antipathy towards signing up family and friends but my mum asked me if I get anything out of it. I admitted that is did and to my surprise she said quite bluntly. "Good. I'd rather give it to you than British Gas". UW isn't about selling energy. It's about helping people because they like and trust you. Can you understand that Quentin and Cardew.
No I didn't think you could.

You can bluster all you like Cardew. I think in all probablity, you have seriously discredited yourself with your continuous misinformed declaration that UW is more expensive and a throughly nasty company, with thoroughly nasty distributors.
I have constantly stated that ALL of my customers are saving money compared to their previous energy suppliers. Some have the cashback card, some don't. But the fact remains, that they are all saving money and taking advantage of the other benefits that UW offers.
Yet you choose to disbelieve this. I don't care and my customers don't care.
Sorry to have to tell you this but most people are not the 'average' user. Many other people have different requirements that don't comply with the 'average' (sorry again, I know you think you're the centre of the universe, with your facts and figures, please see your therapist) but PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT!

Have the 3 great pretenders given up or is it just a respite?

So........ Cardew doesn't like the fact that people can save money with UW, yet he constantly discourages people from looking at UW to see if it has some benefit for them.
The 'average' usage is not applicable to many, many people and Cardew, who, with his annexe and place in the USA could hardly call himself 'average' for the UK, yet puts himself forward to advise people about what they should do!!!
Nobody is average - everybody is individual.
Well, excuse me but the vast majority of people in the UK DO NOT HAVE annexes and property in the USA! Get real!
In fact, I'd go so far as to state that you are so outside of the 'average' that you profess to champion, that you shoud really be renamed the Marie Antoinette of MSE!
I would just like to state, again, that ALL my customers save money compared to their previous suppliers. Some have the cashback card, some don't.
And none on them have annexes or properties in the USA. They all live in the UK.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

New readers.
Don't take my word about UW having just about the highest Gas and Electricity prices in UK, just try any of the Comparison websites recommended by Martin to confirm the facts.
If you wish use the 'Which' comparison network and that will show exactly the same that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK.0 -
