As for phoning you it is one of the ways some IDs have been using to contact other business people. Some people don't like it but it isn't illegal as you were advertising your own services anyway

Yeah the lady is advertising her services, its not there for salesmen to ring up, cold calling to make a sale themselves.

I do not intend being drawn into responding to your ridiculous comments made about me.

I didn't post about you having a hidden agenda by continually asserting to us you are "very happy" with uw expecting any response!

Your contradicting styles are exposed for others to see what is the truth about your "happiness" with uw.

Over at the uw reps forum you post that you are so unhappy with uw that your colleagues have urged you not to post about it there, for fear this negativism will be picked up and used at "uw bashing forums".

On that forum you also post much criticism of MSE in general, and particularly pick on MSE Martin for criticism, praise Carmine for what he does (by name - what is his true role within uw?), and tell your colleagues you won't post here anymore and urge them not to do so and let this thread die.

But again, you show your true colours by actually posting here more than any other rep?? So what is your real agenda?

(And now we see your colleague using this forum to alert you to a private message left for you at the reps forum - you spending all your time here, and not picking up your messages over at the uw reps forum? Not sure this thread was provided for that particular service for uw reps!)

We are yet again digressing from UW energy prices. Please click on the thumbnails below to compare two screen shots from energyhelpline, which show how expensive UW really are.

Now the reps and carmine will tell you that these are fabricated, the usual line to try and muddy the waters. These screenshots actually make UW look relativity cheap being only 19% more expensive than my current tariff. Using Ofgems own 'standard' user figures, UW are a massive 23% more expensive than the cheapest available tariff.

So no matter how much bluster the UW apologists come out with, stick with the facts.

That's as may be. But may I refer you to NigeWick's questions asking to explain why he pays less with UW than with any other supplier?

Yes, we are digressing, but only so we can be sure of the accuracy of the information posted by people on here.

You see, in the interests of parity, we need to make sure that we can trust what posters are saying and it seems that a certain Q-based individual has been shown once again to be posting misleading information. We need to ascertain whether he a) just misunderstood or b) posted it deliberately. If we can't get a response, how are we supposed to take his words seriously?

It is acknowledged even by uw reps that uw gas and electricity prices are expensive, so an explanation is hard to find.

    Some suggestions:

    1. Nigewick is a uw rep (you didn't mention that!). So he would say that.

    2. He is referring to the bottom line, not the cost of his gas and electricity. He does say he makes use of the risky prepayment card!

(It has been suggested to him he could get his gas and eletricity cheaper elsewhere!)

He must waste his UW discount trying to obtain cheaper energy, when most folk who are not addicted to ringing 0870/0845 number could receive free UW broadband and phone (sufficient spend on discount card applicable) if they used their discount more wisely. You could even make a profit, as UW refund any discount not used.

Though it would seem this a bad idea because most UW customers have friends all over the world and ring folk all day everyday, constantly ringing 0870/0845 numbers. So they have to pay massively over the odds for their energy to qualify for the relevant phone package. Yeah, OK.
  • Sorry, I (and I suggest other readers do so too) will take your words with a pinch of salt given your recent track record of posting inaccurate information...if you answer me I'll leave you alone, I promise.

All I want to know is whether you misunderstood or you deliberately posted misleading information about UW. Please don't expect to be taken seriously until you provide the posters with an answer. The longer you delay telling us you misunderstood would lead the casual observer to conclude that you purposely posted misleading information, undermining anything you say now and in the future.

by the way, whilst you're thinking about how you can squirm your way out of your recent faux pas, what relevance does this have. UW ID's don't get a better deal from the company and pay the same price as Club Members??
