We have repeatedly said that nobody is suggesting you should do other than stay with UW if that is your choice.
You have decided that you don't mind the extra £100+ you pay for you gas and electricity; and of course that is your choice.
You seem to think that this thread is purely aimed at you; it is not! It is aimed at the new readers who will want to know about UW prices and some of us are attempting to inform them of the true picture of UW very high gas and electricty prices.
I do wish you wouldn't use emotive words like 'ignorant' for people attempting to point out facts to prospective customers.
I don't for one minute think this thread is aimed at me, I will however express my views and opinions as a UW customer! Maybe you are not bothered by my choice in utility companies, but it seems some on here are. I don't know how many times I have jutisified my reasons (not that I should have to!), but they don't seem to satisfy some! I don't agree that this thread is purely aimed at new readers either, it is a useful place as a UW customer to discuss how to save more money and the various offers available, this obviously will not interest you as you are not a customer.
I feel I am more than qualified to discuss UW having been a customer for over 7 years. I can comment on certains issues that you have no experience on and I have also been as honest as I can be.
As for the comment on using emotive words, I'm hardly the only guilty person, I am getting a little fed up of UW customers being referred to as 'guillable' or naive' though I didn't see you tell that poster off! Anyway I was feeling emotional before so thats my excuse for using an emotive word! I've seen a lot worse on this thread, I think i'm one of the more polite posters!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Cardew is VERY bothered we choose UW, believe me. Why? is the real question...Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Take only UW broadband and phone (free weekend calls), and make you international calls free Skype to Skype, perfect for friends and family who live abroad. Like I've already said all this possibly for free, even a profit, if you spend on the UW discount card is large enough. If you work, which I presume many UW customers do, I cannot possibly see any reason to have 24/7 calls, its an unnecessary luxury.
So free broadband and phone with UW (subject to sufficient spend on discount card) with free weekend calls. Free Skype to Skype international calls. Use 'saynoto0870' too avoid paying for national rate numbers. Then choose a far cheaper online energy tariff. Genuine money savers should be able to see the clear benefits from such a strategy. Which is why carmine added me to his ignore list when he couldn't offer a coherent/logical reason not to follow this course.
I'm sorry Jimexbox that wasn't why Carmine added you to his ignore list! I can't believe that you have the cheek to say that UW reps deceive people! I believe that Carmine added you to ignore due to a very strange number of posts where you accused him of saying something you originally said! Trust me it made for very strange reading and made little sense. Anybody (UW person or not) reading must have wondered what was going through your mind that day. Just have a read back if you don't believe me! But don't make up reasons to suit your cause, because anybody can read back and see what was written.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Absolute classic quote from carmine who once again proves he is all things to all men. This quote believe it or not refers to carmine advising a fellow MSE member in relation to First Utility....1carminestocky wrote: »My only worry (actually it wouldn't be my only one, just the main one) would be waiting for the £100 discount for 12 months from what appears to be a very small company.
I thought the same could be said about UW. Small company, where you have to wait 12 months and jump through various hoops to receive their recently announced £100 discount. Is carmine going to warn potential customers in this thread? I await further developments.....0 -
Please quote where I said UW reps deceive people? If you cant find one, an apology will suffice.
Please quote where Carmine said he added you to ignore because he couldn't offer a coherant/logical reason to follow your ideas? If you can't find it, an apology will suffice!
I am sorry if you have never Specifically said UW reps deceive people, however it has been implied in the tone and content of lots of your posts. See I am a big person and will apologise! Will you?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Didn't I apologise to you for mentioning UW in another thread? Its a pity Rael cant apologise for deceiving MSE members and threatening Cardew with violence.
Yes you did apologise, but I think it was necessary as posting on other threads about UW is against the forum rules!
I like the way you turned that around on somebody else, very clever!! So no apology forthcoming from you then?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Which? Best Buy status is awarded to the very best products and services tested by Which? This well regarded accolade is only awarded to products or services which achieve the highest results after the rigorous comparative testing and analysis by Which?.
When have Which tested gas and electricity and awarded UW a 'Best Buy' status for those services?
All that has been carried out is a reader's survey.0 -
I still haven't heard a coherent argument
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
