Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus) Discussion

Read the hundreds of pages of this thread for a graphic illustration of the art! For a starter>
1. Their failure to admit that they have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK.
2. Their failure to condemn the disgraceful TVG - some even try to defend it.
3. Their failure to condemn the ghastly sales techniques demonstrated in the videos.
4. The 'I don't advise any customer, I show them the figures and leave it up to them' posts - when you absolutely know that they will be paying very high gas and electricity prices.
I could cut and paste hundreds of others!
Absolute rubbish. Nothing more to be said.0 -
Here we go again Quentin. Your post is misleading once more. Don't confuse any comments I have about particular issues with my feelings as a whole towards the utility warehouse...... I am very happy to recommend what they offer to other people.
In what way is my post misleading?
You have set up a thread elsewhere entitled "Why is UW letting us down?" where you bemoan what is going on at UW (so much that your mates turn on you and ask you to stop being so negative about UW on the forum as it is public and your posts will be reported on "uw bashing forums").
Despite this, you say that you feel "very uneasy" when offering energy services to new prospects, and you want uw to "suspend" selling energy until a more "fruitful" time comes (whatever that means), and that you cannot bring yourself to now discuss the worthless guarantee with new gullibles you meet,
Yet here you continue to tell us you are "very happy" to recommend uw.
Both versions cannot be true! See the hypocrisy?0 -
Its slightly odd that UW folk and 'independent' UW shareholder carmine avoid admitting what we all really know, deep down even the UW reps know that their energy tariffs are vastly more expensive than those evil big 6. Afterall they are simply reselling energy supplied from Npower, with an extra layer of profit, or costs if you're a UW customer added in.
To avoid the unpalatable truth, the discount card is used to justify the huge difference in prices between anyone of the big six and UW. Apparently monthly billing is such a huge boon that it too is worth paying a massive premium for. I'm afraid you can trot out any 'unique feature' or 'added bonus' chit chat you wish, it doesn't change the undeniable fact that UW offer very expensive energy tariffs.
Another absolutely pathetic post. But expected.0 -
Jimixbox, I am a physicist and you try to lecture me on free thinking. You would try to teach your granny how to suck eggs. However you still missed the point. You are too literal for your own good. You are proof of the bandwagon effect.
Cardew. Having an opinion is OK. However, having a dislike for something and going out of your way to misrepresent it to others and trying to do damage to it with libellous charges you seem to think is also OK. I suggest keeping your opinion to yourself. You may be qualified as an electrician but does that qualify you to cast an unfounded judgement on UW or me or keggs or other distributors especially in public.
If Cardew really thought about he was writing instead of rewriting the rubbish posted by Quentin then he might just realise that what he writes is laughable.:rotfl:I might just take him seriously then.0 -

You complain that posts here are "pathetic", "absolute rubbish", "bah and humbug" etc.
Nevertheless you do reveal elsewhere that thanks to this thread you have lost customers, and implore your colleagues at uw not to come here in the hope this thread will die!
You also tell them you have "learned your lesson" and also won't post here any more, to help this thread die.
Doesn't have the ring of truth. somehow!0 -
The 'I don't advise any customer, I show them the figures and leave it up to them' posts - when you absolutely know that they will be paying very high gas and electricity prices.
This is the most ridiculous of all your statements Cardew. I have no idea what potential members will be paying, I do not have a glass ball. Even if I worked out figures (which I am not allowed to do) that would prove nothing. It is the UW that determines that based on whatever information they have been given. If I worked out anything for a customer I would be in very dangerous territory. It's called mis selling.
You are very good Cardew at ignoring what ID say to you. T+ may may dearer for some but they may be a lot cheaper for others. But your antagonism and deliberate non acceptance of this basic truth just goes to show that you really are out of your depth - I don't forget what insults people say to me. And you accuse me and and others of abuse. Get real. Take a look at yourself in the mirror. You might just surprise yourself.
As Vinnyph points out to you what you state is an opinion. That's all. You have a scientific type background (of sorts). Scientists as you should know don't deal in opinion. They deal in evidence. What's your evidence - Quentin and Comparison web sites.:rotfl:

Is that the best you can come back with. Pathetic once again. Every business loses customers for all sorts of reasons. Death is one very apt reason. Some move away seduced by big corporations then suddenly find they are worse off. For some, it didn't work out for them. That's life.
If I wish to post here and hgave a damn good argument I will post.0 -
The basic fact for all the AUWF is you have lost the arguments but are still like dying swans trying to cling to life. You know you have lost. Move on.0

Hardly the reason you complained to your colleagues about, where you specifically refer to this thread causing you to lose customers despite the "cranks" you say post here.
Or are you now saying that all the customers you have lost thanks to this thread just went because they dropped dead after reading it?0
