Another phrase for passive income is a repeating income except for one simple difference. As well as UW I get a repeating weekly income every time my customers (in my other business) avail themselves of my service. In the case of UW (or musicians, writers etc) this repeating income happens because customers are availing themselves of the service regularly without realising they are doing. As a result IDs receive a portion f the customers bills they have referred on to the company every month. People who avail themselves of the customer discount plan (like Carmine) get a passive income in the form of a regular discount of their bills.

How many times does Quentin and his friends switch on a light or makes a telephone call. BT or BG or whoever he andf they use are getting a passive income albeit he and they pay for it every quarter.

Passive or residual income is nothing odd except for people like Quentin.

C'mon vinnyph, let's have an ode or poem to lighten this whole thing up.

    Dear Quentin

Does it satisfy your twisted ego to attack people?

We have been asked by the moderator to cut out the personal comments. Nearly all your posts contain personal attacks.

As I read Quentin's posts he merely posts links that show the - presumably approved - UW sales techniques, and in the latest links some UW 'motivational' lectures.

That seems to upset you greatly.

Are you not happy that we can see these videos? Do you feel they show UW in a favourable light?

I don't think anyone has stated that passive income is disreputable. The fundamental objection to UW is their apparently UW sanctioned sales techniques.

Yet again we have page after page of posts from those with a vested interest in UW that never address/defend the issues of UW sales techniques - the disgraceful TVG being a good example - or the indisputably high UW gas and electricity prices.

Come off it Cardew. Do you really believe anything that Quentin says is showing genuine concern for supposed unsuspecting people visiting this site?

As for the videos etc if you or others wish to take them out of the context they are in then you can use them to show anything you wish to show. While they are open for all to see and listen to you know as well as I that they are there to help and support fellow IDs. The fact that they are open for all to see and hear shows that UW and its IDs have nothing to hide nor be ashamed of. You might not like the socalled modus operandi of UW but you are one of a kind any way as we all are. You have a right to your opinion as I do. I see no problem.

Quentin never attacks in a personal sense (except for Nigewick) but anyone with any sense knows what he is doing. That to my mind is far, far worse than any name calling. It's dishonest as well as totally distasteful.

I still want to know what Cardew does for a living and what makes him so 'qualified' to comment on UW.

If he has such knowledge surely, he should let us all know? And, if he doesn't have personal experience of UW, doesn't that then make all his posturing merely his own opnion and not really worth anything? It is, after all, just his opnion. The proof of the pudding etc.......
