If you really need it spelling out to you..
1 clubcard point for every pound spent on fuel
1 clubcard point = 1p in tesco vouchers
exchanged for deals they are worth 4p hence 4%
I've used them on all sorts of things from AA membership, holidays, days out etc.
What do you use your "cashback" on? Overpriced gas and electricity?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Give it up and come back as someone else. You know it makes sense. jimeps3?

You simply cannot resist the 'carmine post deflection method'. I honestly admire your fortitude in the face of adversity, if only you would tackle questions about UW in a similar fashion we might make headway.
As you UW distributor friend says, you are indeed a 'legend'.0 -

Whilst I would be far too modest to accept such a title it's all relative, I suppose. And compared to you.....:pCall me Carmine....

How is £2.50 converted into £10 not four times as much??

:rotfl: Just ask even the die-hard points collectors on paidtoshop if they are REALLY worth 4 times value on deals and see what even they say.Call me Carmine....

Any way back to the 3 questions I posed, any chance of a specific reply? You know without dragging the entire energy industry into the equation which seems to be another carmine tactic to lay 'smoke and mirrors'
An clear response without any personal attack would be dearly appreciated.

Well everything I have ever used them for has been worth 4 times the value of the cc vouchers.
Just booked a short break with some actually, I used £32.50 worth of CC vouchers and got £130 off the cost of the short break with park resorts, the break cost the same price as they were advertising on their website.
Please explain how those deals tokens were not worth 4 times as much.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Even Martin has speculated they are worth approx 3 times the value - and that was before they started imposing limits on the holiday spend. I can't believe I'm having to explain this but here goes; the true value of the deals tokens can only be ascertained by comparing the cost of you paying cash for the item/holiday/whatever and taking into account any special offers offered. We all know (I hope!) that clubcard deals are not allowed on special offer deals. For instance, cinema tickets. Go on Orange Wednesay and we can get admittance for 2 for approx £6. Cost in vouchers for 2 tickets? £6. Not £1.50. £6 in actual vouchers. £600 worth of fuel, in other words. Check out paidtoshop for the real value of these things.Call me Carmine....

Where has Cardew gone??
Why do people seem to disappear for a few days when proven wrong? For when you reappear this was my quote from 22nd July.
The last time i went on a price comparision web-site (about 3 weeks ago) UW were in the top 10 for me, so obviously everybody gets different results. So the statement above is obviously personal to you, not everybody is going to get the same results as you, so UW won't always be in 50+ position as stated.
It doesn't actually state that i entered any actual meter reading figures does it? I only entered info about my house, rooms etc. Maybe i should have made this clear (though i didn't realise quite how pedantic people were on here!!)
So how have i posted incorrect information? How am i digging myself into a hole? I have always been 100% honest on this thread, but i don't think you can say the same!
I believe you have been caught out posting incorrect information regarding French and Sauners advertising UW on tv, have you not?? I haven't seen this post i admit, but you did post this incorrect information, did you not?
Not quite sure how you can accuse me of posting misleading information, when you have been caught out doing just that!
Also can you answer a question that i have twice asked you, have UW ever been considered to be competative for there gas/electric?
Thanks
