Ok let us see who is incorrect or not!
You posted this on the 22 July
Now you are saying:
It would appear that there is a considerable discrepancy between your post of 22 July 2009 and the post above.
How did you get UW to be in the top 10, 3 weeks before 22 July, if you didn't enter your figures?
Is that sufficient proof? After all you have no vested interest have you?
If you are in a hole janninew - stop digging!!!
Where does it say i entered figures? I entered information about my house, number of rooms, number of occupents etc. I accept this wouldn't give me the most accurate result, but it did put UW in the top 10 a few months ago. You don't have to enter any figures to get the information.
And NO i have no vested interest for maybe the third time!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

How can anyone who claims to keep on top of his bills to such an extent that he's allegedly paying way more per month than he was just a couple of months ago so as to cover his projected usage not know that Eon grant the discount quarterly?
It's akin to Einstein struggling with the 2 times table. Then us mere mortals are supposed to take your advice on the UW thread seriously?
Ah carmine resorts to type, namely the one of the three techniques he uses to deflect or abuse a relevant post. Really mate, you should change tact occasionally, even a interested observer would find your strategy incredibly predicable.
Now back to my questions I posed, any chance of an answer before to the world as we know it ends?0 -
It is of no relevance whatsoever where I shop, bank, my investments, the paper I read.
The Forum is gas and electricity; the subject is UW and the inescapable fact is that UW gas and electricity prices are amongst the highest available in UK.
It might be of relevance, if I were unwise enough to get my gas and electricity on BG's expensive standard tariff and suggested that this was a wise move. After all that very expensive BG standard tariff is only a little cheaper than UW's best tariff.
It also might be of relevance that I actully pay £797 a year less for my gas and electricity than I would pay with UW. A tariff incidentally that you did your best to rubbish!
I beg to differIt's ENTIRELY relevant when you are on here pontificatiing about best deals blah blah blah. The fact that you clearly are very reluctant to reveal your own money saving strategies whilst criticising others is very telling. So it's clear that, unfortunately for you who I do recognise has some semblance of intelligence, like jimexbox you DO NOT use a cash back card, perhaps you can butt out from criticising people who do? Until you reveal the answers to the extremely simple questions I have posed, your views on here are utterly worthless.

Do you really consider you views as independent? Seriously mate, do you really really think or even believe you are? This is a serious question as your entire credibility is in doubt.0 -

Back to the carmine tried and tested post deflection method Ive already outlined. Come on mate, Ive already said casual readers would be astonished by your predictability, its about time you change tact. Just to keep the AUWF awake........;)0 -

You're nowhere near my intellectual capabilities, mate. Not something I would say to someone with a lesser ego than yourself (i.e. somone who's ego didn't far outstrip their abilities) but it happens to be entirely true. You're entirely out of your depth. Give it up and come back as someone else. You know it makes sense. jimeps3?Call me Carmine....

1carminestocky wrote: »Following on from plushchris' plugging of Tesco's new clubcard deal, what he failed to mention was the new double points deal doesn't apply to fuel purchases. The Tesco filling station near us are charging 103.9p for unleaded and 104.9p for diesel. The Sainsburys filling station we now fill up at are charging 101.9p for either fuel. We get 5% of the spend here off our UW bill. Big difference when we spend at least £50 a week on fuel alone. Over the course of a year the discount applied to our UW bill just as a result of buying our fuel from Sainsburys will amount to approx £140.00.
What cash back card do members of the AUWF use for their fuel purchases? I'm curious.
Even without the double points on fuel I still get 4% back on fuel purchases with a clubcard and the Tesco filling station near me is 3p per litre cheaper than the Sainsburys
So 4% on fuel purchases and 8% on store purchases, which I can spend on lots of different things other than expensive gas and electricity.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Great for you, PC. Not for me. Have I ever told you who to use for your G&E? Shopping? Don't think so. Afford me the same respect.
PS 4%?
PPs Do you also use a cash back card?Call me Carmine....
