Carmine, Ive publicity criticised my supplier for their own dubious practices. Will you do likewise?
(Still adopting jimexbox's posting style) Why are you still with them, then, given your 'ethical' stance on this thread?Call me Carmine....

They have proved me personally with excellent customer service, with a very competitive tarrif. Now, back to the triple guarantee. Do you find it an acceptable?0 -

Ditto UW for me. And your problem with UW is?You've already admitted that Eon treat you like a muppet but essentially stay with them because they save you money. Which makes your strategy no different to mine.
Like I have said before, I don't trust ANY energy company's claims (UW included). I do my own research, everybody should. But would Eon tell me if I applied that, actually, mate, EDF are currently approx £62 a year cheaper on your usage? Course not, so why would you expect UW to? In fact, would Ebico suggest I look elsewhere on my usage if I was to apply? (for me Ebico are more expensive than UW BEFORE my mighty cash back card discount is taken into account). No is the answer. Until the energy industry is taken back into public ownership (something i have always wished for) then this is what's going to happen all the time. You can clearly live with it in the case of Eon (where you are a customer) but not when it comes to UW (where you aren't a customer). Double standards...Call me Carmine....

Cramine, with the utmost respect you still haven't given me your opinion on the UW triple guarantee.
I totally agree that no company you/we do business with will be perfect, but we are still entitled within liable laws to offer an opinion on aspects of their service. That is why I have criticised Eon publicly, Im sure they dont like it, but tough.0 -

I've given my view on the triple value guarantee many times, you must have missed it when you disappear for your pint or 2. I gave it just a few posts ago, in fact. I'm much more forthcoming than you when asked questions, I think readers will see. For instance, I'm always more than happy to provide full details of my annual usage. Unlike you, bizarrely...Call me Carmine....

Could you quote your comments of the triple guarantee for me, not sure I can find it. You switched to discussion to my own supplier for some reason......0 -

Stop being so silly. Here's an example of your behaviour: can you quote your actual usage figures for me, not sure I can find them. For someone so reticent to give even basic answers to rudimentary questions, you really do expect so much of others, lol.
What possible problem could there be in posting your current usage figs (except the fact you'd clearly forgeotten what you posted just a couple of months ago and it's all blown up in your face somewhat :rotfl:)Call me Carmine....

Ive already given you my projected spend for the next year. If you choose not to believe me that your problem. UW would be £255 more expensive than my current Eon tarrif. Whatever I posted about my usage you would treat with suspicion, it would seem to be your nature, so its a pointless exercise.
Why wont you give me your opinion? Is it because you are a shareholder and it would be a conflict of interest?0 -
Triple value guarantee.
Guarantee Quentin will not give details of his UW beating cashback card.
Guarantee Jimexbox will not give his annual usage figures and region.
Guarantee Cardew will believe that the prices given on price comparison sites are accurate.
The small print
:rolleyes:Quentin's Cashback Card?
Let no man, advert or internet site tell me where to get my Utilities0
