That's exactly why its pointless giving you any usage figures. Your 'modus operandi' to anything you disagree with is to accuse the person of lying. Im not bothered if you believe my figures or not, what is indisputable is that UW are vastly more expensive than my current tarrif.
Ive even given you screen shots. Whats your next form of attack? Accuse me of tampering with the pictures?
I've not accused anyone of anything. We simply asked you for the annual usage figures you entered. We mean the kwhs for gas and electricity and region. That shouldn't be too difficult really.Quentin's Cashback Card?

Do you believe me or not? Like you said I could make up the usage figures to fit the result. Its a pointless exercise, you either accept my screen shots as genuine, or not.....0 -
Just stating again I have not accused you of anything. Why is it that when we ask a simple question like what are your usage figures you get all defensive. The way you are reacting anyone would think you do have something to hide.Quentin's Cashback Card?

I could send you a T-shirt with the energyhelpline pages on. You seem to jump to conclusion to conclusion without waiting for an answer. There is no cancellation fee, but if you took the time to observe the cheapest tariffs, as opposed to your expensive one. You would realise that the 'big 6' tend to trade top spot on a regular basis. Whereas UW regularly scrape round at the bottom.
You haven't given me you quote on what you think of the triple guarantee yet. I would honestly like to know what you think. If you true opinion conflicts with your position of shareholder, I will understand.
Now who's dealing in subterfuge? So your final bill from Eon would include the rather substantial discount that allows them to get near the top of the switching sites. Would it? This discount can be as much as 17%! Time this wrong and it's far more financial disadvatageous than even the most expensive exit fee (a quarter taking into account a cold Winter, for instance. Or in the case of your gas, ANY quarter)
I can see no wording to this effect on energyhelpline. In other words, the punter has switched before he/she gets even the chance to notice this rather iomportant T&C.Dual fuel direct debit customers receive a discount of 8% off their total annual bill. Save Online customers receive an extra discount of 9.2% off their total annual bill for managing their account online. The total discount is 17.2% off the total annual bill.Save Online customers must manage their energy accounts online to qualify for the extra discounts. These extra discounts are available until at least 1st October 2010.
Customers signing up to Save Online will receive 1 Tesco Clubcard point for every £2 spent.
No mention of no discount on final bill

This rather important T&C is actually buried within Eon's T&C for residential products on their website:
4 Ending this contract
If you have recently asked to switch your energy supply to us, you have 14 days from the date you entered into this contract to stop the switch.
If you wish to cancel the contract after this date, the contract will end when your transfer to another energy supplier is complete. We will close your account to the final meter reading. No discounts will be applied to the final bill and you must pay the balance in full. If you have not paid an outstanding energy balance, we may stop you switching that energy supply to another supplier. This contract will end if Ofgem nominates another supplier to provide energy to the premises.

Oooo. That quite a hidden extra.
Does that mean that if someone swaps away from eon online deal they have to pay the whole of the discount back or just the discount on the last bill? It's difficult to tell.Quentin's Cashback Card?

It's just the last bill, I believe (but time it wrong and that could be a full quarter's worth. As some Winter quarter bills have been known to be well in excess of £500 that could equate to a sizeable sum). No mention of this T&C on energyhelpline, which is disappointing, I think. Have Eon gone to 6 monthly billing, do we know?
(whispers it) I'm not entirely convinced jimexbox was aware of this T&C.Call me Carmine....

Carmine, I wish you would use more suitable words to describe what answer you require. There is no cancellation fee, what do you not understand? What you have described is not a cancellation fee, it is a forfeit of a discount which is received annually. If you move after you have received your annual discount, you would not be penalised.
Im helping you as much as I can. Can you please help me by quoting the words you claim you have used to describe the infamous UW triple guarantee? Go on just for me this one time......0 -

Ive just received my quarterly bill......0 -
Just noticed some other parts to the contract as well. To me it seems very easy for eon to simply remove someone's saveonline discount and put them back onto standard rates.
17 Qualifying for the SaveOnline discount
Our SaveOnline plan is available for unrestricted and Economy 7 metered customers only. Our SaveOnline plan is available for Dual Fuel and electricity only customers. Our SaveOnline plan is not available for Prepayment, Heatwise, Economy 10, Economy 18 or Restricted Hour Tariff (RHT) customers.
To qualify for the SaveOnline discount you must:
register your online account within 30 days of receiving your account number and continue to manage your account online
take either your electricity, or electricity and gas from us
pay for your energy by monthly Direct Debit
provide us with your email address and notify us if it changes
provide meter reads online if requested
update your details online if they change.
If you fail to do any of these or do not pay us, we may transfer you to one of standard plans, including Prepayment, and you will lose your SaveOnline discount. The terms set out in sections 1 to 15 will continue to apply.
We may remove your SaveOnline discount following the date set out in your plan. The way we do this is to switch you to our EnergyOnline plan or one of our standard plans. We will contact you in advance to notify you of your new contract Terms and Conditions and prices.
If you move home you can take your SaveOnline plan with you but different prices and/or discounts may apply dependent upon the location of your new home.
If you switch supplier before the date set out in your plan the Save Online Discount will not be applied to your final bill.
19 Withdrawal of SaveOnline
We reserve the right to withdraw SaveOnline plan. If we do so:
we will transfer you to our EnergyOnline plan or one of our standard plans
the Terms and Conditions set out in section 1 to 15 will continue to apply.
If you have chosen our Dual Fuel SaveOnline plan and you switch your electricity and/or gas to one of our other plans or another supplier, we will end your contract and you will be switched to one of our standard plans and sections 1 to 15 of these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply.Quentin's Cashback Card?
