I think its the only possibility to save money with UW is if you take their whole package. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

But nobody has seen any evidence from you to back up your accusation about me.
I did explain the post you constantly bring up.
You ignored my explanation and moved on to your accusations of libel and your empty ultimatum regarding taking legal action.
As a result of that I cannot make any comment, as you will understand.0 -

Ive always said, despite some unwarranted vitriolic attacks (not carmine, he's a puppy;)) that if folk are explained the ideas behind UW, and given the facts, including what they need to do to save money. I for one have no problem with droves of people signing up, if they can make it work for them, great.
You know as well as I do, although many reps round here cannot bring themselves to admit that UW partake in selling practices that could be described as a deliberate attempt to miss-sell their product. Other energy suppliers themselves are involved in unsavoury practices to some extent, but not to the extent that UW do.
Ive always believed a company should be judged on their treatment of customers, and by the people they employ, not share price. This is why find UW lacking......0 -

You have not explained the post at all.
You have clearly forgotten that not only did I explain the post, but you entered into a discussion about the explanation.
So that is a proven lie from you. (See posts #2838 to #2840).
You will have gathered that I have no particular desire to reach an "accomodation", and as already mentioned, your ultimatum regarding legal action does mean I cannot comment further.
So keep repeating your post as often as you like. You know you are never going to receive any comment from me about it.0 -

In message 2824 you stated "Nigewick, you used to boast you are an ex-copper.
Is this how you used to stitch people up?"
No matter what the context of the words, these are a complete statement. When challenged, your responses have been
2838 "You know you used my words out of context, so read whatever fits into my reply."

The words you quoted out of context were (as you well know) used in this post of yours:

In fact my post was much more representative of how we have seen uw reps being taught to sign up customers:

I would have thought the revelations of how you are taught to sign up customers (using the worthless guarantee, and avoiding detail) would be enough to stop most people getting in touch.
If you want to dispute this image we have of uw reps, then do so, but you simply used my words out of context.
(I stand by them!)"
You have not explained your use of "Nigewick, you used to boast you are an ex-copper.
Is this how you used to stitch people up?" at all. You have tried to divert attention from them by claiming I used another person's words out of context.
We are not talking about other Utility Warehouse people, we are talking about words you have used in a public forum to say that I committed offences when I was a Police Officer. So, will you please offer proof that your allegation is correct or apologise? The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I think its the only possibility to save money with UW is if you take their whole package. Im fundamentally opposed to doing this exact thing, companies do this because it reduces 'churn' rate. Simply because when folk have everything with one supplier it usually means the 'cant be arsed' factor happens, folk cannot be bothered to look about for a better deal.
Also you have to need the package which UW offer in to make them worthwhile in the first place. Does every UW customer really need every component of their particular package? Why not take the cheapest online deal and shop at Asda. After all they have won the cheapest retailer award from The Grocer for the past 11 years, not Sainsburys.
It's entirely possible to get the very cheapest deal on the market with UW whether you have 1, 2, 3 or more products. Agreed the biggest savings probably kick in when you have gas, leccy, phone and bb due to the 24/7 inclusive calls plus the dissipation of the effect of the £1.73/mth club fee. But if you shop at Sainsburys (the cheap supermarket of choice with true money savers, it seems) then, if you are a true money saver, it's a bit of a no-brainer.
PS Aren't you with BT and Be and don't they insist on min. term contracts, certainly initially? Surely the thinking behind that is to discourage you from migrating? Incidentally, whilst glancing at Be's T&C's I came across a quite disgracefully embarrassing grammatical gaffe. Anyone spot it on first read-through? Hope so...Downloads are subject to our rather fair usage policy. Your actual speed will be affected by factors that our out of our hands, such as your distance from the exchange. Terms apply, and service is subject to location and availability, BT line and minimum term contract. Wireless coverage depends on factors including distance from wireless box and building construction. Fair usage policy applies.
