But nobody has seen any evidence from you to back up your accusation.

I refer you to your previously posted comment about me "Nigewick, you used to boast you are an ex-copper.

Is this how you used to stitch people up?"

Do you still say that you stand by this quote stating that I committed criminal offences when a Police Officer or will you apologise?

For my area(Midlands) taking the average consumption of 20,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity and paying by Direct Debit. - using Enrgyhelpline.

British Gas Standard tariff = £1,140

    Cheapest Tariff(BG websaver 3) = £1,022

    UW = £1,199

So UW costs £59 more than BG Standard tariff and £177 more than the cheapest dual fuel tariff.

If you want to pay quarterly you are even worse off with UW - you pay £215 more.

Any UW rep want to query those figures?

Add £240 to that £1199 and you get £1439 for gas, electric, phone line, up to 24mb BB and 01, 02, 03, 0845, 0870 and 10 international calls included 24/7. Even if you don't use the cashback card (do BG give you any incentive to reduce your bill without reducing your consumption, BTW?), it's certainly very competitive if viewed as a package.

OK, what is your point? Are you trying to compare against the TVG? If so, could you use the relevant BG and incumbent supplier numbers in your example.

    Thanks

To what end? To try and devalue the request or merely deflect attention?

Either way, there are a lot of members waiting for the apology.

Well posting the same message over and over again is obviously not going to get him to apologise!!

If Nigewick is so incensed about the post, then report the post or take some action.

At least if I append my post to Nigewick's repetitive post we at least have some information on gas and electricity prices, which is the main purpose of this forum!

Simply pointing out how much more expensive UW prices are compared with other firms.

Seems perfectly appropriate for a Money Saving Forum - or would you not agree?

As is pointing out how CHEAP they can be for some people, surely? You don't seem to like it too much, though.

PS I'm assuming the company you work for has the absolute cheapest product of its type on the market?

  • Well working out my aunties tariff with UW she was £80 worse off with UW than BG. Its strange how everyone of UW reps are not doing so well and there marriage is breaking up. I called UW for my auntie and the UW rep told me Tier prices without VAT :S they will take anyone for a ride if they get away with it.

That's what I feel like carmine, asking you why you haven't joined UW yet.

You know why Im still with Eon despite being heavily critical of their deliberate policy to confuse the public.

So for the third time in 24hrs, why oh why, despite repeated claims that UW will save you money, and spending endless hours defending UW here, why haven't you joined them yet?

If you having second thoughts, that OK. ;)

My SP cashback has come through this morning (there was a dispute) so I'm off to UW. Feel better now? Probably not :p

Actually, I don't know why you are still with Eon, perhaps you could enlighten us?
