But what difference does it make to you whether or not it is genuine market research.
It doesn't worry me at all. Everyone who reads your bogus survey (except for you) can see it is just a deceitful way of selling under the guise of conducting nothing more than a "survey".
You are the one outraged at allegations of deceit in the way uw operates!0 -
We'll have to agree to disagree Quentin. But you haven't answered by question which I'll repeat again: What has the Utility Warehouse done to you that you feel you have to pour so much venom? Your repetitious mantra that the UW is deceiving people (which isn't true but we'll agree to disagree) is in my view a cover up for something more. Assuming UW is deceiving people (just for arguments sake) why pick on such a small insignificant company in the grand scheme of things. Why (as Carmine suggested) are you not having ago at the deceptions perpetrated by 'big' commercial organisations such as British Gas or British Telecom or Virgin (which I believe was found guilty of miss selling)?
Your attacks on UW are out of all proportion. There is more to your opinions than you're letting on.
You said that you don't care how we as distributors gather customers. If that is the case why mention it in the first place. Remember you brought up the survey. You are the one that keeps telling everyone that UW is deceiving people. Who is deceiving people now? You can't pretend to care less on the one hand then denigrate and attack on the other hand. It just doesn't add up.

Having thought long and hard, you will be glad to hear that I will no longer post here. I value the reputation of both myself and that of the Utility Warehouse too much to get embroiled with arguments that only seek to denigrate and abuse. I have no wish to tarnish that reputation by something I might inadvertently say which undermines it.
For the last time permanetly

No I didn't.
I answered your question:what difference does it make to you whether or not it is genuine market research

Which you seem to think meant something quite different. To clear up any misunderstanding, I am in no doubt the survey is bogus (and are you going to tell us what happens to all the vital "data" you collect?)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You seem to feel it's ok to use this forum to advertise in great detail the uw's new "Hot News" about its worthless savings calculator, and expect to get a clear run (as the training videos suggest will happen when selling uw utilities), without anyone raising any objections to this pure "propoganda".
Despite seeing genuine questions about its validity, you have made no effort to answer them, instead feigning outrage about your wife being mentioned in this thread - when you actually were the first to introduce her into this discussion!
Other than give this unsatisfactory riposte:Price per se matters little to me - service, value for money and honouring promises made are far more important.
So if price means nothing to you, why are you so excited by the "Savings Calculator"?
And which honoured "promises" are you referring to? (Hopefully not the worthless guarantee)!0 -
Mazz, shame Keggs won't see your latest abusive post. He is a fan of your posting style (which of course doesn't tarnish the reputation of uw and its distributors in any way at all)
This was his encouraging reply he made to you last time you were here being abusive:Nice one Mazz

Quentin, ill take over from Keggs, do you have any further questions about Utility Warehouse that you want/need answering? this thread has gone somewhat off topic!

I'm not discussing anything here now. Just want to say that it appears Quentin doesn't want to answer you joeybaby78.

I wouldn't touch UW with a very long bargepole, and would advise anyone else likewise. Whilst get-rich-quick schemes will always pull in, sadly, the optimistic/gullible the sensible don't touch them. A few will make money exploiting the hard-working many who make peanuts at significantly less than the minimum wage.
It is of course possible that UW is entirely legitimate & offers good, long-lasting, consistently market-beating money-saving deals. Aye, right.
Cheers & best wishes to all, including those who don't agree with me!

I’ve been following this thread for quite some time now. I’m merely someone looking to get the best deal for my utilities etc as everyone else is.
However, I notice that the bulk of the posts in favour of UW are from people with a financial interest in its success (as reps etc) whereas contributors such as Cardew and Quentin have no financial incentive at all. They merely appear to be expressing their genuine concerns for the benefit of people like myself and giving up a lot of their time and effort to do so, which I applaud.
I also can’t help noticing that whereas Cardew and Quentin in their posts maintain an acceptable standard of courtesy and so on that the UW reps have on far too many occasions allowed their posts to be sarcastic and even downright abusive. As a potential customer, this sort of thing worries me considerably.0 -
Lol...............................Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0
