    Dear Quentin

If you think I believe you felt hurt with my reposte to you, you must be joking. I meant what I said - I wouldn't have you as a customer. As a businessman I have every right to serve you or not. The customer isn't always right when they are abusive.

As for my wife you had no right to bring her into the discussion - it was totally irrelevant to start with; and more importantly you took the comment which I and others made on a site devoted to UW Distributors out of context. This, to put it mildly is disgusting.

How low can someone like you go to try and make a point. Doing so just proves one thing finally. You have lost both the argument and damaged your own credibility.

    Smart move Quentin.

I am still awaiting an apology.

As for your your digital thought processes I will leave more technically minded people to answer your questions. Price per se matters little to me - service, value for money and honouring promises made are far more important. All of which as far as I am concerned UW has done. You might not have any respect for these values, putting price on a a pedestal but many people including myself see beyond this.

I don't know why it is a puzzle!

The Gas and Electricity I get 'delivered' is the same regardless of which company I pay for those services.

I took the gamble in 2005 to go on BG's Fixed to April 30th 2010 and as a heavy user am paying the lowest rates in the market(approx £1000 pa less than UW incidentally).

When my tariff finishes in a year I will re-assess the market and move from BG if it is advantageous to do so. I have a electricity tariff in an annex that uses tiny amounts of electricity - I may consider getting UW on just that tariff if their cashcard system is still operating!!!!!

With telecoms I remain with BT because it is excellent value for myself. I won't bother listing all the perks again, but apart from my desktop PC we have 3 laptops in the house. We use the wi-fi minutes a lot and BT have just introduced the latest 'super duper' McAfee security package which I have downloaded on the 4 PCs.

For me, and I suspect the majority of people, the BT package is better value than the UW package; for my family it is excellent value.

The majority of my many calls abroad are on a free video link with Skype so cost me nothing - I spend several hours on Skype to Egypt and Oman - all absolutely free.

There is also the fact that all my family have BT email addresses and it really is a bind to change them, we are all also familiar with the BT browser and all Favourites etc.

Is it finally working with Vista? ;)

    You have lost the argument

As you cannot or will not answer the points raised, it is hardly an "argument".

Using "how low can you go" is just a little ott from someone who is now intending to call their "warm" list of friends and family with a so called survey where you will ask such questions as:
The Utility Warehouse can save the average household £600 per year on all their utilities. What would you use that £600 for?

    q Car Insurance
    q Car Tax
    q Holiday Fund
    q Clothes Shopping
    q Weekend with family
    q Give to Charity
    qOther.....................................................

Do you think you would benefit from having the Best VALUE domestic gas and electricity in the UK?.

Just what does the uw intend to do with the results of this cynical worthless survey?

The price of everything and the value of nothing. Stop taking comments from other web sites and transplanting them here. It does you and other readers of this thread no good. You only show yourself up for what you are.

As for 'my' survey I will do with results as I see fit.

One question you seem to have access to what I thought was a private site. You seem to like the site enough to visit so often. Why not contribute to the forum. No, I forgot. People with such negativity never do. You are fearful of what might be said to you by other more knowledgeable people than me.

Where is the apology Quentin for the attack on my wife.

This is a libel. If you or your wife are saying that I have attacked her, then you are liars.

Do you think moneysavers don't deserve to know what is behind an "innocent" request to take part in a survey for the uw? When it is in fact just a cynical way of getting round tps rules etc, and get their reps an opportunity to sell utilities to their friends and relatives under the guise of "important research".

Just what will you do with all the answers gathered from prospects on what they will spend their £600 savings on if they sign up to uw?

    I take great offence at

    (a) The sarcastic and irresponsible firts comment
    and
    (b) Bringing my wife into any discussion on this site.

How dare you. I expect an apology forthwith.

As for the rest of the post - it's worthless garbage. Stating how much this organisation will save you or that organisation will save you is not proof of anything. That includes UW. Only by trying something new will anyone find out whether it is is worth it. I repear you know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Thankfully most people are prepared to try new things with an open mind. Even Cardew (if he got his head out of ****) might find things a bit different if he tried things instead og pontificating from a standpoint of thinking he knows it all.

Do you not feel that there is a certain irony to be demanding an apology in a post that contains the phrase "if he got his head out of ****" ;)

Take a look at your history of posts on this thread; they are full of personal, abusive, emotive and sarcastic remarks!

Something about stones and a greenhouse comes to mind!!

I didn't bring your wife into this conversation did I Cardew. Quentin conveniently forgets that he went to another forum deliberately looking for information he could try and use to attack any UW distributor. The other people on that forum sensibly do not contribute her so who should he use - ME. He then takes a comment completely out of contexts and transplants it here - a comment about another person who does not contribute here and has no reason to. That is despicable.

Don't come the libel bit here Quentin. You deliberately made the comment about my wife as an attempt to try and discredit me. And you expect me just to take it in good fun.

Stick to discussing what few real facts you know about the Utility Warehouse and leave other people and other forums out of it.

You were "discredited" long ago when you resorted to persistent personal abuse, rather than debating the points raised. (And don't forget instead of answering valid points raised, all you could say is "I wouldn't have you either as a customer or a distributor. We only look for happy smiley people, something you 'clearly' demonstrate that you are not" - from what we learn, you in fact only "look" for gullibles)

You flatter yourself if you think you are the only poster here who can be found on the net.

If you don't want your wife's opinion of uw discussed in this designated uw thread, perhaps you shouldn't have mentioned her on the net in the first place.

"If you don't want your wife's opinion of uw discussed in this designated uw thread, perhaps you shouldn't have mentioned her on the net in the first place."

Again another disreputable answer. If I choose to mention my wife in a discussion which is basically a private discussion between like minded individuals (as others on the forum dis) that is my right.

It is not your right to pick out comments made on another site and bring them here in order to attack someone else.

As for not wanting you as a customer if you feel insulted by this comment then that is your choice. In my opinion you are not the sort of person I would want as a customer.

You may think the 200 odd thousand customers UW has as 'gulliblepeople' but they do not. It is their choice to join and your choice not to join and distributors choice not to ask you to join.
