We have seen how uw reps are encouraged to gather customers by "avoiding any detail".

It is no surprise your reps have on average just 10 customers each - their "warm" list who do not expect to be mislead by a member of their family or close friend.

If you reps don't set out to mislead, why the emphasis on the worthless "guarantee"?

Why do you say your sister is so satisfied just because the risky cash card gave her the reduction on her expensive utilities? That is what it is supposed to do!

Why not point out to her she could get far cheaper utilities elsewhere, and a cashcard (risk free from a financial instituton) and get the same or bigger discounts direct off her shopping instead of having to now make use of the card purely to bring her uw bills into the realms of the rest?

Personally, I wouldn't have you either as a customer or a distributor. We only look for happy smiley people, something you 'clearly' demonstrate that you are not.

From the "true life" videos of your guru, great gary at work, you miss out "gullible" from the profile of people you seek out as customers or reps.

Leaving out the merits or demerits of UW pricing, surely the videos demonstrating the 'modus operandi' of UW are enough to make most people shudder?
  • I note that Quentin and Cardew are currently expending a lot of their time and energy trying to get ONE CUSTOMER to change from UW for his leccy on another thread . They seem to take it as a personal affront when they discover someone is using this company. I'm not sure whether it is actually really funny or really sad, TBH. Probably a combination of the 2. Can't UW just give 'em a list of the 280,000 individual customers and their contact details then hopefully they won't have time to come on here for the next 12 months or so. Bliss. :p

As you are well aware, we are doing no such thing.

Someone, posted some incorrect information and it was corrected.

The poster is not a UW rep and I believe that he was initially unaware that the information he gave was wrong. He has now posted the prices he pays and realises that he is actually paying about 26% more than he posted initially.

He was probably recruited by a relative or friend who gave him incorrect advice.

    Here here Carmine.

As for UW's 'modus operandi'. What exactly is wrong with it? Did you know Cardew that there around 20 million people world wide involved in similar 'modus operandi' in a variety of businesses - some very well known? Did you know Cardew that many major corporations world wide (eg Sony) use Network Marketing to get their products out to the public? Did you know Cardew that Network Marketing has helped more people world wide get out of poverty than any 'job' or getting a degree ever would? Did you know Cardew that network marketing is far, far older than your so called shops?

I think it's about time you and your bezzy mate got yourself a couple of good books on network marketing and franchising and learnt something. You obviously have no real knowledge and understanding about it and seem (without actually stating it) to perpetuate myths.

And you accuse us distributors of misinformation.

Really Cardew that just takes the buscuit. One more :rotfl:

I do find it difficult to take moral guidance from Cardew, someone who uses bare faced untruths to try and get his point across.

So what are French and Saunders doing on TV most nights?

You can watch their video here.

Care to withdraw that remark as well?

Ditto remark on paying commission to comparison websites?

cardew, the french and saunders video is only on the internet site. To say it will go out every night on tv is misrepresentation. They do not pay for the video to be put on tv, they do not pay for it to be put on satellite. Its never going to be put on tv, it just explains nicely how the company works that's all. Its just on the website. I thought it was quite good actually myself. The other companies pay a fortune for advertising on TV. Do you realise just how much they spend and how much more their overall costs are compared to the U.W.D.C.

I can only go on what I read in the press. The full story is often more complicated but there is a news item here

    guardian.co.uk/money/2006/dec/11/utilities.frontpagenews

Sorry I thought I had seen French and Saunders on TV; so got that wrong apparently.

So their little skit on the website is not advertising - it is obviously informed journalism!!!

Here here once again Carmine. You should be a distributor. I wonder if French & Saunders are customers. I know Paul Daniels was when he did a video for us a few years ago. I hope he still is.

By the way Cardew. Not leaving aside the companies rates. I for one speaking purely as a customer couldn't give monkeys what rates I pay. I am interested in just one thing. Does the company offer me benefits that I can't get elsewhere. My answer is an unequivocal YES.

    One bill

Cashback card that gives me extra discount

No need to worry about the phone bill. I can call anyone from my landline to another UK landline for FREE 24/7.

Oh yes, I have to subscribe to 4 services for this last benefit. But so what!

I am happy - as 279,000 others are. And looking at my own group customer base that figure's probably gone up now.

Like Quentin - you haven't a clue. But I suppose you have to pretend. I don't need to. I'm very, very, comfortable and so are thousands of others - millions in fact when you consider the rapid growth in network marketing world wide.

Businesses are looking for ways of cutting costs nowadays never mind get new customers. People are losing their jobs hand over fist including your precious BT. Are you really telling me and millions of other network marketers they are better off simply having a job and being thankful for it when NM can fulfill more people's dreams and aspirations than any traditional business ever can if they are prepared to work their own NM business.

Don't judge NM by what it is but by what it does and can do for millions of ordinary people - without prejudice. Without barriers. Without the need to trample over other people to get up the greasy corporate ladder.

Helping other people get what they want from life and show other people a way of saving money overall (and UW does that despite your stupid bogus arguments - if they didn't they it wouldn't have 280,000 satisfied customers and growing) is one of the most satisfying things I have ever done. It's great to see people smiling when they achieve what they want and in an ethical way. You might think what we do is unethical but I don't care. As far as I am concerned and many other are concerned you have a warped sense of morality and ethics if you and Lord Voldemort (go and see Harry Potter if you don't know what I'm talking about) think helping friends and relatives is somehow awful and to use his words 'deceitful'. The only deceitful person around here is Lord Voldemort.

It seems that you just are unable to see the deceit in asking a good friend for his help over a problem you have at work which you need to practice on, when you in fact just want to sign the friend up to multiple utilities, as shown in the training video from your director:

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/practice-appointment-shannon-griffin.html

And you don't see the deceit in the way the worthless "guarantee" is used to make people believe they are getting the best prices.

Or what about the form you give out to people to fill in at garden parties/fetes etc where they are given a chance to win a bottle of champagne.

Needless to say, the most important part of the form is for the prospect to give in their phone number. But why does the form ask you to answer yes or no to the question "Do you want the cheapest gas and electricity?".

See page 5 of your directors on line training tutorial:

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/downloads/guesswin.pdf

You see no deceit there? Even though uw cannot and does not attempt to provide the cheapest gas/electricity?
