I'm assuming Quentin is a self-made millionaire? Anything less would greatly disappoint me, lol.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
You forget we saw you all and learnt what went on at express day in big al's talk to you all on mind manipulation on how to deal with any contact who doesn't believe what you tell them.
http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/rejection-free-presentation-big-al.html
How do you actually express yourself? The reps just seem to sit and listen to the "motivational" claptrap. (And laugh when big al said things about "prospects" like "so what we need to do is learn how to manipulate their minds...make them say whatever we want them to - they're not using their mind anyway, somebody needs to use it")
From big al's web page:
Big al was just talking like that to get attention from the audience, to get a laugh. He didn't really mean he could manipulate a mind. He was just saying that if you say thing the wrong way you will turn people away. Don't be scared of big al he is only about 5 foot 2 or so, thats why they call him big al, as a joke. big al isn't in UW, he is a motivational teacher from America. The UW techniques taught at training are different to what big al taught. You can never force people to change and sign something anyway. They will make a decision.
All I do is find out what someone wants and then show them what we can do for them. I don't try suggestions that they try the services or any other suggestive way of getting them to join. I just wait until they are happy and they ask me how they become a customer and then I show them how. I don't try to get sales I just help answer their queries. I find people prefer being treated like that. I know I would. I just answer their questions to help them make a decision. I don't think people like to be put under pressure to make a decision. I don't like pressuring people. I think people in the UK prefer to be put under no pressure but like to find out about what is available. Big al is American and Americans tend to have more bravado in how they put things across. It was the first time Big al had been at a UW express day. I have my own nice way of doing things that people seem to like. As I say UW people are not not a brainwashed cult, they are just people adding to their pension by saving their friends money with a high quality service.
Its a shame you didn't see the audience, not everyone was for what gig al was saying because we are british not american. Most of the audience were around 50 though. Its good to have pensioners with enough to live on though isn't it and an excuse to go and see their friends and family and get out and about as with my 74 year old distributor in my team. We regularly meet up for a chat. He used to be an engineer before and in the raf before that.
Got to go now...Quentin's Cashback Card?

Anyone who can be bothered to watch what happens at express day will see big al ask the thousands of disciples at the rally to write down their own mind manipulating phrase (I just found out ..........) that he has taught them and try it out on their neighbours. They all seemed hyped up and joined in!
And isn't the martini presentation designed to manipulate the gullible into one of only 3 possible responses, which themselves all lead to success for the rep? With the Martini Presentation, there are only three possible outcomes
1. "Yes". All you have to do now is complete the paperwork.
2. "I would like to think about it." This is what you say: "I understand that it's not the speed of the decision that counts but the accuracy of the decision that's important. So as part of your investigation it would make sense to trial the services (show the guarantees again in the brochure whilst you're saying this) wouldn't it (nod head). Your friend agrees. You complete the paperwork.
3. "It's not for me." You say this. Thanks for your honesty but if you consider our guarantees (show them in the brochure while your saying this) it would make sense for you to save some money wouldn't it? (nod your head). Your contact agrees and you complete the paperwork.0 -
Have you been instructed/advised/requested not to talk in terms of percentage cuts?
I have been informed that I only have to declare that I am a Distributor for Utility Warehouse every now and again on long threads and once on short ones. So For today's messages, I am an Independent Distributor for Utility Warehouse and any views expressed are my and may not be the company's.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Your mind's been manipulated! Been having a martini with big al?
What do the MSE rules you quote to us have to do with percentage cuts?0 -
You (and NigeWick) both get your energy cheaper than an ordinary Joe because you are distributors. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

The BG announcements are in this format:
So for UW it presumably be fair to say that 2% would be your average?
Have you worked out the average because I haven't. Cannot comment without all the calculations being made.Quentin's Cashback Card?

Blame Vinny (uw rep) for misleading us over this:
That's typical, blame a UW rep for misleading everybody.
Let's not blame posters who are "advertising " on MSE by including links to recruitment websites.Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught - Sir Winston Churchill0 -

AS has been stated earlier, UW have reduced their prices in line with the TVG - if this is a lower percentage than BG, then this must mean that BG "Standard Tariff" customers were paying a lot more than UW customers up to this point.
The %age change is irrelevant and totally misleading when discussing UW as their TVG is the basis of their pricing policy.Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught - Sir Winston Churchill0
