This is contrary to the info given to us by NigeWick.
When challenged over this (it was pointed out to him that it wasn't on to claim those savings as he would be getting his staff discount on the savings he claims he gets), he replied to say he got no discount for being a rep.
Which version is correct?
I don't get a discount off my bill for being a distributor but I get customer volume commision (cvc) paid back to me because I signed myself up as a personal customer. I know someone just being a UW customer would not get this but it is because I am a distributor. Its not a staff discount because I am not employed by UW, I am not staff. It is because I am an authorised distributor. The amount I get back as cvc has paid over the years for me being a distributor.
Nigewick may not be his own customer.Quentin's Cashback Card?

Not good enough vinnyph.
Can you tell us where on the internet UW announce the percentage decreases in price? An average figure will do.?
Would you dispute about a 2% reduction?
UW have not given out an average as I said before. It would take me ages to input all the information for 132 different tariffs across the country into a spreadsheet and work it out, I haven't got time to do that. Would a rhyme make you happier about this?Quentin's Cashback Card?

Could you just answer the question I asked you? I realise physicists are busy folk, but please.....0 -

I think I understand what you are saying.
You (and NigeWick) both get your energy cheaper than an ordinary Joe because you are distributors.
So NigeWick was wrong when he said reps and customers pay the same?0 -

It would mean inputting actually 528 different numbers into a spreadsheet and then taking the mean. I would take hours to do. Then if I make one mistake the answer would be wrong as well. By the time I have done that there may be an update on one of the news sections on the price comparison sites anyway. Would a rhyme do instead.Quentin's Cashback Card?

It has nothing to do with spread sheets. I just want a clear answer to this ; if most people who move over to UW choose to have their gas and electric supplied through UW, why does the UW triple guarantee that is used to entice potential customers specifically exclude dual fuel tarrif comparisons?
After All they would be effectively dual fuel with UW. I cant seem to get anyone to answer this point.....0 -

He was right in that the bill is the same. Distributors get a separate commision statement and get a cvc for being my own customer on that. The payment is separate.
The customer discount plan is a open to all customers and is a discount off the bill. That might have something to with the confusion. CDP and distributor are two different things. Although a distributor can still use the CDP.Quentin's Cashback Card?

Hi Quentin
They are both right. A distributor / customer are charged the same on their bills.
My assumptions are that....
Vinny also recieves CVC on his customer (himself) because he is "active"
Nige, over the years, has fallen below the minimum level to receive CVC.
ok?
