We also learnt that bonuses are paid for recruiting distributors - see the £1000 (for 3 recruits) mentioned in the martini presentation.
"How much can you earn?
Unlike some plans, with Telecom plus there are no monthly qualifications required in order to receive an ongoing income, and you can start earning money from day one. Compensation is dependent on the customer gathering and Distributor recruitment efforts of you and your downline team.
In short, a customer gathering bonus of up to £35 will be paid for each new customer gathered, along with an ongoing commission of up to 5.8% of your personal customers spend. You will also earn an ongoing commission of up to 0.8% on the services used by customers gathered by your team, as well as potential additional bonuses for every customer gathered."

Well, that's my question, what ratio of UW customers have gas and electric with them. Shouldn't be too hard to find the figures for us.0 -
The reason that happens is that the best UW tariff for your usage would be standard (medium) for electricity and high for gas ---When I calculated the actual price UW came in 32nd place.

If UW are indeed in 32nd place - congratulations!
So come on. please tell us how much you have reduced gas and electricity prices by in percentage terms.
It is not difficult surely?
I will ask the same question! Have you been instructed/advised/requested not to talk in terms of percentage cuts?0 -
Just to clarify, you mean gas, electric and possibly another service?
Because your 'triple guarantee' specifically excludes dual fuel tariffs, which if Im not misinterpreting your comments, most UW customers go for at the very least. Also how can a comparison site take into account a possible discount? Its exactly that, a possibility. If you dont use your UW card you get zero discount. I dont even think maths chaos theory could factor in a possible discount.
Not a single one of my customers have energy only. Most UW customers take the UW package. Its because it makes sense to. So its not just a possible extra saving, its what most people do with UW. There are discounts related to free geographic and 0870 and 0845 telephone calls 24/7 that someone gets just for taking 4 services would get. There are other discounts apart from the cashback card. Why would someone get the cashback card and then not use it. Would they be trying to be daft on purpose. The cashback card has been very popular. Most new customers are taking the cashback card I find. Now I wouldn't generalise and say everyone likes it but a lot of people seem to when I see them.
Your quote math chaos theory doesn't make sense, I am a physicist and know what I am talking about.Quentin's Cashback Card?

I haven't been advised not to mention reductions, they are on the internet site anyway. It depends on the customers usage, their area. DIfferent places have different reductions. There are 132 different tariffs to work out and average. The company has not put out an overall figure across the country as yet and even though I could work it out I can't be bothered to work it out as it would take too long and I don't have the time, I have more important things I have to do.
In any case what is more relevant is the reduction for each household and an average wouldn't make sense. I guess because the reductions aren't something like 50% off, buy one get one free it isn't worth making a big song and dance about. I probably won't even make a rhyme either, unless you want a rhyme about it. The other companies might advertise lots on the TV about their reductions. UW are more understated and don't advertise.Quentin's Cashback Card?

I am a physicist and know what I am talking about.
Brilliant, you may be able to explain something very simple to me then, in layman terms please.
Question, if most customers choose to move their gas and electric to UW, why does their triple guarantee exclude dual fuel tariffs. Like I said, please keep your answer simple.0 -
Another discount I get is by being a distributor. I get money back off my own bill.
This is contrary to the info given to us by NigeWick.
When challenged over this (it was pointed out to him that it wasn't on to claim those savings as he would be getting his staff discount on the savings he claims he gets), he replied to say he got no discount for being a rep.NigeWick wrote:Nope. Distributors pay the same for their services that other customers do

shows that 0845/0870 calls are inclusive subject to fair use policy, like BT calls to access and dial up numbers are chargeable.0 -
why does their triple guarantee exclude dual fuel tariffs.
You are mistakenly thinking this worthless "guarantee" has any standing in the true sense of "guarantee".
It isn't a real guarantee, just a sales tool dreamed up by uw's markting department.
See the ho explanation here:
