    .No its not the price.

If I had to pay for services (I don't) this thread eg the posters on here would put me off.

When I have had to pay for services, I have found the companies I have dealt with have call centres that are a night mare to deal with which is one of my pet hates so I'm glad I do not have to buy these services now.

Now I'm even more puzzled (and suspicious)

There is a very simple answer to that, I wanted to see if any of the UW worshippers would pm me offering their services.

I can confirm no one did which I was impressed with

They aren't allowed to use the pm system to advertise, and always do as they are told.

But why do you want this info? You say you don't buy utilities?

Should we take this as being indicative of the level of honest in the rest of your posts?

This attempted entrapment, which if successful would presumably have been used to discredit an entire company based on the actions of a single person is frankly pathetic.

I was curious after reading the posts on here and how commited to UW the people are as to whether they would breach MSE rules and PM me.

As you know Quentin we are both on MSE a lot and often agree and sometimes disagree with each other. Which is the beauty of MSE, I don't like people who abuse MSE and tout for business so it was a test (Entrapment if you like). I'm glad to report no one did pm me which impressed me.

I'm not for or against UW but read most of this Thread and it is a great thread so thought I would join in, after all we all like a good discussion

You don't need to stoop to entrapment. Rogue uw reps turn up all the time breaking the rules (most recent is Decado23's rule breaking sig) and are easily spotted.

Anyway this is a great thread when the other threads on MSE are quiet, I quiet enjoy reading the "banter" on this thread.

Does any one know what the collective pronoun is for a UW Distributer?

lol, I was wondering when that would come up.

For clarification, my sig mentioned that I am an independent distributor for utility warehouse.
I did this because Martin requested we announce it when we post (see the first post of this thread) and after my first few posts I'd noticed I'd forgotten to mention it a couple of times. Figured sig was easiest.

I can only assume the rule I've broken is for 'advertising'. Although the sig contained no link and nothing promoting hte company. Merely announcing that I'm a distributor.

    Oh well. poo happens.
