I guess its also the whole picture is to also add in the other savings as well.
The multi service savings, and the cashback card as carmine has pointed out. Together they are very good value. As most customers have most of the services and a lot have the cashback card even though it has only a few months old all these have to be taken into account.
The details carmine has point forward countless times have still not been challenged. Can any find a better deal than he has set down. If not then it must be good.
If I may also point out, trying to discredit the name of a company or trying to discredit a representative is both off topic and also deformation of character. It is libel. Also enticement is an offence. Just wouldn't want people to get in trouble. Why cannot we just be nice to each other and write a poem
You need to quote my 'challenge' post, vinnyph, because Cardew and Quentin have me on ignore (although I know for a fact Quentin at least reads my posts). If you quote me they can then admit they've read it, lol. There's been so much bluster on this thread and when someone (me) comes out with some actual figures and challenges the detractors to beat them, total and utter silence. Why?Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
The guarantee is to be "competitive". What does this mean?
How can a customer make a claim against the guarantee?
In what way are they hypothetical questions?0 -
-
It is against the cheapest of the standard tariffs, not the most expensive as you infer.
You know that the "standard tariffs" are the most expensive. People here know it is easy to beat the standard tariffs, but you don't even say that you are going to beat any of them. Just this undefined guarantee to be "competitive"!
And you always exclude the uw membership fees, any dual fuel discounts the others give, etc etc.0 -

Spillchuckers?
Seeing dacouch's name has reminded me, I think I'll rent that DVD tonight, you know, the one with Sean connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones in it. Can't for the life of me remember the title, though......
Anyway, I post AGAIN my projected figures. I'm still waiting for any kind of response let alone one that beats it  I'll put it in bold this time, maybe the detractors are missing it...
Yorkshire Region:
Gas 15000 kwhs
Electric 6000 kwhs
Silver club membership.
UW cashback card.
Phone Line Rental.
Up to 24mb BB
40gb download allowance/month
Free router
Inclusive 24/7 calls to 01, 02, 03 numbers and 10 international destinations (at the moment, could also be inclusive 0845/0870 from 1/4/09 but also means line rental increasing to £9.90 so we will leave that until we have conclusive proof).
Free calls to CS.
12 monthly paper, fully itemised bills per year listing all 4 services we take.
One monthly direct debit.
£10,000 accidental death insurance.(I'm not planning for my wife to be in a position to collect this, obviously!)
'Exclusive' discount offers from Prospero Magazine (no idea how good/bad these are but I don't pay extra for it so we'll see).
Projected (conservative) annual spend of £6,000 on the card at the designated stores.
Have I misrepresented anything/left anything out here? Please correct me if I have.
Total monthly DD over the course of the next 12 months: £105.
Annual spend £1260.00
Is this beatable elsewhere with comparable services?
Call me Carmine....

From Carminestocky, a money saving question that has not been answered:-
Anyway, just to come back to proper discussion. Incidentally, here's an offer, if Martin would like me to prove my identity to him and then check with UW to confirm I am NOT a UW distributor I am only too willing to do that. I'm a potential customer (currently with Scottish Power) who is looking for the very beast deal on this MONEYSAVING site. Thank you. I post again:
So, just to recap, here's the UW deal for us (pre-decrease):
