I must go now good fellows,
    its time for some tea.

It takes a mind so resounding,
    to fathom my report.

You see that 1carminestocky has been taken in by your misleading hidden message, yet don't have the decency to correct this.

By paying £2.30 for silver membership you don't get freephone calls to CS at all.

The truth is you must pay for silver membership AND have your phone service supplied by them for the free calls to their cs. Otherwise they use an expensive 0844 number.
  • So, just to recap, here's the UW deal for us (pre-decrease):

    Yorkshire Region:

    Gas 15000 kwhs
    Electric 6000 kwhs
    Silver club membership.
    UW cashback card.
    Phone Line Rental.
    Up to 24mb BB
    40gb download allowance/month
    Free router
Inclusive 24/7 calls to 01, 02, 03 numbers and 10 international destinations (at the moment, could also be inclusive 0845/0870 from 1/4/09 but also means line rental increasing to £9.90 so we will leave that until we have conclusive proof).
    Free calls to CS.
12 monthly paper, fully itemised bills per year listing all 4 services we take.
    One monthly direct debit.
£10,000 accidental death insurance.(I'm not planning for my wife to be in a position to collect this, obviously!)
'Exclusive' discount offers from Prospero Magazine (no idea how good/bad these are but I don't pay extra for it so we'll see).
Projected (conservative) annual spend of £6,000 on the card at the designated stores.

Have I misrepresented anything/left anything out here? Please correct me if I have.

Total monthly DD over the course of the next 12 months: £105.
    Annual spend £1260.00

Is this beatable elsewhere with comparable services?

Having had his abusive posts removed by the Mods, it would appear that Vinnyph is using filibuster techniques to ensure the real situation about UW is not told.

I was balancing the arguement, you keep continually promote UW, I was giving some balance by giving some reviews of some UW customers which also include some reviews from some of their distributers me thinks

Aaahh, I see. I'm assuming you are subtly suggesting I'm a distributor? That would be akin to me suggesting you work for mycashplus mastercard, which I believe also gives cashback on shopping? It would be a presporous suggestion so I wouldn't make it, of course.

I'm assuming you can't find a better deal for me? I thought this was a money saving site as well.
