Something strange happened with my bill this month. I've only been charged £1.60 for my line rental and calls instead of the usual £10*. Clearly a mistake. Has anyone else got this type of error this month, or is it just me?
* approximately, but clearly an order of magnitude from where it should be.0 -
Line rental alone is £10.75
and then theirs caller display which they charge £15 a year for and other suppliers provide at no extra cost.
They still continue to unfairly compare their dd price against BT,s non dd price.

Utility Warehouse try and get all customers on to direct debit to keep their profit margin up. All they are doing is showing the benefit of direct debit to prospective customers.

Nonsense when comparing the price of products you are supposed to compare them like for like. All UW appear to be doing is trying to make any savings look better then they are.
At the very least they should say they are not comparing like for like.
They dont even appear to be aware that local calls were abolished yonks ago,
and they dont make people aware unless you dig in T&C ,a minimum monthly call apend of £1 applies to each number connected to our service. No good for low users.
I assume that that they will be announcing further price changes this weekend at their Giant Ra Ra Salesforce Meeting . Are you going Nigel?0 -

In fact uw charge much more for anything and everthing they sell unless the customer sets up a direct debit - though don't specifically point this out either!0 -

Yes indeed unlike other providers they even make money from customers having to call their semi premium rate 5p a minute from a landline 0844 customer service number. Unless you pay a premium to get it inclusive.0 -
I was looking for input from someone who knows what they're talking about Quentin, like another customer (although I see your reply has now been deleted). I know what current line rental is supposed to be thanks, but this was for March rental/usage (this month's bill covers last month's usage).
I want to know if others have the same type of error on their bill. Can anyone who has UW telephone please confirm theirs is as expected (or not) this month?
Thanks.0 -

Nope. I won't be watching the debate on telly either.
