to open and count my money tin? or not?

Options
I have been saving 5ps in a money tin (can only be opened using a tin opener) for just under one year. Its bigger than the 'normal' money tins you can get and has a picture on the front rather than a goal. Anyway its over 3/4 full and its so heavy now that the base is starting to bow. I dont know if i should open it or wait untill it is full so i can fit no more in. When i do open it i dont know what to do with it debts/car savings so this is putting me off opening it. But i want to know how much is in there :rotfl: Any opinions/advice... thanks pap

  • Hi PAP!:D

I was wondering where all the 5p's had gone:rotfl:

Personally, i'd wait until it was absolutely full, but i can see its tempting.....

pap dont open it till you have a plan hatched with what your gonna do with it ...you dont want it to suddenly disappear in a fenzy of cd buying or something....and try try try wait till it's full...and also get one to replace it so you can start again...i'm looking at my whisky jar just now it's looking pitiful as i emptied it the other month (we had absolutely no money ) i'm lucky if i got £10 out of it ..(but atleast that £10 got use bread milk etc).....and part of me is wishing i'd left it for my hols in july
