There needs to be a sticky: TOP CASH BACK / QUIDCO ARE NOT GUARANTEED PAY OUTS!

The idiots are ruining it for the rest of us.

so, who decides what is a 'good' claim? QC/TCB, or the retailers?
The shops are getting trade they might not have received, if no c/back deal was on offer..
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)
  • Still waiting for transaction to be confirmed or payable after 9 months.

Can AA representative be of any help? TPB are refusing to resolve this.

I just find the AA to be very slow. Last time I think it took them 11 months to pay. Have always got the cashback eventually.

I know its not AA, but I had similar issue with Green Flag it took over 10 months to get them to accept I'd made a transaction. Partly my fault as visited website 4 times because of internet explorer crashes.

However, was persistent with Top Cashback, always take a screengrab of your visit and validate the claim by sending a message to the team explaining the situation.

I recently did myself out of some cashback as didn't realise that using TopCashback Compare for insurance has to be bought there and then. It activates saved quote details if you go back, so I won't get any for my home insurance but was cheaper anyway than my renewal quote. Topcashback say it must be tracked and completed there and then to spend best chance of going through.
Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!

    Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of The AA. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"
  • Hi, can a AA representative contact me or send me a link to report a declined Cashback claim through Top Cashback ?

Why not do what they ask in the paragraph you quoted?
  • Im assuming the reference number would be unique to the query and id need a new one to be generated prior to replying ?

They have provided you with the relevant ref number to use as this has now been generated to help with your query.

    Where?

(FWIW cassius, I believe you've done right asking for your own reference number, though maybe you could just email without one; but using someone else's may just confuse)

Ill wait and see if they flag my request with a new reference number or if this is a standard reference for all queries involving issues with cashback.
