My own personal experience:
Purchased breakdown cover on 23 Feb via Topcashback.
Noticed it wasn't showing as tracking, so filed a 'Missing Cashback Claim' on 23 Mar.
Topcashback asked for a bit more info and I replied, 26 Mar.
Topcashback submitted my claim to the AA, 27 Mar.
Topcashback notified me they had received tracking information which matched my claim and was I happy with the earnings now showing, 23 Apr.
I closed the claim 23 Apr, earnings in my account.

This case may have also stirred Topcashback regarding my BuyMobilePhones claim, raised on 15 Feb last year, six nudges from me, and I get the money on 24 Apr.

Can't get that link to do anything??
Anyway, we will not renew either of our breakdown policies with you this year.
Just cancelled my husbands and mine will be cancelled too when it expires.

Hi,

You need to send an email to chat@theaa.com . Don't click on the link as if email isn't setup on your PC it won't work.

Well within 1 day of emailing the TCB becomes payable!!
Only 7 months later. Got there in the end but still think TCB could have done more and should really be monitoring some of the merchants using their service.

Have the AA sorted this for anyone? I have also been ripped off by the AA and Topcashback - £50.50 cash back still not confirmed after two months.

I will not renew with the AA again.

Hello Melvyn, we'd like to address this with you, please email the details to chat@theaa.com including your full name, address and Reference FOR41625. Regards, The AA

Took out AA breakdown cover with all the extras in December 2013. Three months on I still have no confirmation on Topcashback as they are apparently waiting for the affiliate to confirm the transaction. Never have I experienced this before. RAC was much better, more efficient in terms of confirming and paying out. Don't see why AA cannot confirm the transaction its absolutely ridiculous.

Wonder how the actual service is though, RAC was great.

Its impossible to verify when cashback sites actually receive payment from the shops you use, before paying out..

I have had some claims going 4/5 months! ask the AA on twitter / facebook etc, this may hurry things along :-)

There needs to be a sticky: TOP CASH BACK / QUIDCO ARE NOT GUARANTEED PAY OUTS!

brightonman123 thanks for the reply. I completely agree we are unaware of when the cash back is actually paid to the cash back sites the delay in which it is passed on. However it is important to stress the problem is with AA. Basically they take a considerable amount of time in settling outstanding claims. There may be other affiliates however AA is by far the worst I have come across.

Smithers37 I am by no means an idiot, I am fully aware of the risk of no payment however you have clearly misunderstood the reason as to why my initial message was posted. Hope the above sums it up.

but surely QC/TCB wouldn't keep offering deals for xyz, if THEY weren't getting paid?
