Maybe there are others thats more knowledgeable than me :rotfl:on this subject, ie, has anyone tried to drink lots of it, or any other sweetened drink, without any negative affects on their losses?
I know I am paranoid but really need the answers
I drink quite a lot of this stuff (Tesco flavoured water) and on sW website it says that so long as it is the ones with sweetner then it's free. It's no different to drinking diet coke or any other diet drink I suppose.
Good luck! xMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

My plan so far today:
BREAKFAST :
7am BANANA
10.30 2 WEETABIX AND SKIMMED MILK.
LUNCH:
PKT BATCHELORS SAVOURY RICE MIXED WITH A HUGE SALAD, TOMS, CUCUMBER, LETTUCE AND SHREDDED CABBAGE WITH A SPRAY OF 1 CAL VINAGRETTE DRESSING.
TEA
JACKET SPUD WITH BEANS
SUPPER
2 POACHED EGGS ON 2 SLICES WW BROWN BREAD
SO THATS ME FOR THE DAY, NO FRUIT ( EXCEPT THE BANANA )AND NO SYNS.
OH! NEARLY FORGOT, JUST DONE HALF AN HOUR ON THE WII AND BURNED 171 CALS
GOOD LUCK FOR ALL THE WEIGH INS X
Looks good - I hear you regards the wiifit.. I'm quite hooked on the obstacle course and stepper at the minute. I've set it up to count down a packet of crisps. 200 and some cals, most times I am 30 or so short.
Fun though! If the wii scales are to be believed I have dropped 8lbs since last weigh in :rotfl: I doubt that very much!
With regard to sweetners:
Aspartame, an artificial sweetener, is approximately 200 times sweeter than sucrose, or table sugar. Due to this property, even though aspartame produces four kilocalories of energy per gram when metabolized, the quantity of aspartame needed to produce a sweet taste is so small that its caloric contribution is negligible.
In 1980, the FDA (america) convened a Public Board of Inquiry (PBOI) consisting of independent advisors charged with examining the purported relationship between aspartame and brain cancer. The PBOI concluded aspartame does not cause brain damage, but it recommended against approving aspartame at that time, citing unanswered questions about cancer in laboratory rats.
However the sweetner is supposedly one of the most tested chemicals - and considered safe. :)You can read more about it if you are worried here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy
However, having a hubby from the states who endured alot more hype than we did here, finding stuff without it in is nigh on impossible - if you want to avoid calories.
I for one can taste the aftertaste in Diet Coke, but not in Pepsi Max as much. I can't use sugar replacement sweetners thats just to much vileness.0 -
thanks ladies for the watermelon answer - im loving SW even more now. hopefully im on track to lose the weight and be 12.10 at most this week.. if so, ill be a VERRRRYY happy bunny!
my nana has just informed me that my black trousers are looking dreadfully big and therefore i must go and buy a smaller pair! (they were a small 16) but they now fit very comfy)
Need to go suit shopping before next monday for black trousers and a black jacket and some tops to go underneath. i dont know whether to go blouses or like round neck tops... im the only receptionist in the place, so im not too sure what to do lol.
my friends wee baby has a chest infection. she had a really high temperature and rattly chest the other night - my friend was at the doctors the other day and they gave her antibiotics to give to her baby in case her chest got worse (last time she had a MAJOR skin problem they wouldnt give her an appointment for 5 weeks - the child was 3 months and her neck and chin were really badly rashed, cracked and weeping... i told her i would go and get her an app. that day if she wanted - i wouldnt have left the surgery til i got what i wanted, but my friend is a little softer than me)... just hoping she gets better soon, shes completely out of sorts wee petI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

Any chance you can tell me how to do that?
I enjoy the parade where you have to pop the bubbles in time to the beat, also I enjoy the hula hoop, my best score is 156, not much but I am working on it :rotfl:
I do them in short bursts, 10 mins either one then maybe a little run inbetween, quickly adds up the cals burned.
