Thank you for this - what a great site!

Lots of really good recipes and really clearly laid out in terms of As/Bs/syns used etc. so you can clearly see what's what and why. You can search by meal or by food as well which is really handy if you are looking for a recipe to use up something in the fridge.

What a great site. Will book mark it when i get home :)

I got to target by eating (and drinking:o) almost syn free during the week and keeping my syns for weekends. It motivated me cos I had something to look forward to. That may work for you. At the Italian, anything with a tomato based sauce would be better than cheesy or creamy but I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice before the weekend.

I always have a huge, free stir-fry for supper on a Monday and go to a dance class which sets me on the right track for the week ahead.

    Good Luck everyone!

This is roughly what i am planning to do - max 5 syns during the week (mainly in real food rather than snacks/ booze) but ideal 1 or 2 then upto 15 each day at the weekend but 20 if need be! Hoping for weekly syns of around 70 - but good to know I can have upto 100 if pushed!

  • Well tonight I will be signing up for Slimming World (eek!).

I've been trying to at least roughly follow the general plan for the past week.

Today I did have cereal with skimmed milk for breakfast though, lunch is some roast vegetables with a bit of cous-cous and a pasta mug shot. I've got an apple to follow that as well.

For afternoon snack I've got another apple, and a muller light if I want it :-)

    Does that sound vaguely okay?!

Not sure what dinner will be tonight - the meeting is at 7pm so I'll try and get their early, I don't know whether to have dinner before I go or after (tempted to have it before else I'll be starving!)
